Located on the sixth floor of The Mayson Hotel is Ryleigh’s Rooftop Restaurant, with outdoor terrace. Take in the panoramic vista of the Dublin Mountains, the River Liffey, the city centre and even as far as Dun Laoghaire on a clear day! Comfy leather clad booths line the windows. An open kitchen and grill adds a sense of theatre to the room. Floor to ceiling windows make the most of the views and the only walls in the room are clad in beautiful veined marble. Ryleigh’s serves breakfast, lunch, Brunch (Saturdays, Sundays and Bank holidays) and dinner. Ideal spot to grab a bite with family and friends. The dinner menu features tasty options such as Sizzling Prawns and Beef Tartare to start. A selection of Irish steaks for main (Striploin, Delmonico, Centre Cut Fillet, Tomahawk Ribeye for two, and John Stone's T-Bone for two) cooked over our charcoal grill, Pan-Seared Monkfish and delicious desserts such as Raspberry & white chocolate cheesecake and Sticky Toffee Pudding.

We had a wonderful dining experience, restaurant is gorgeous food was so good and our waiter was outstanding , sorry I missed her name but she was from Lithuania, she looked after 4 of us so well, so pleasant and smiling. It got quite busy later and it was a little harder to get some ones attention but our lady was running from table to table doing her best and still smiling. Too much pressure on an excellent member of staff. She’s a gem, don’t loose her. I have booked to return again in a couple of weeks it was so good.

We had an excellent experience for our 10th anniversary, the food was fantastic and the service even better. I’m not sure of the name of the woman that served us but she made our experience special, everything she said we should go for from the starter to the sharing t bone steak was brilliant, this is one of my first reviews and we will be back

Fantastic ambience and vibe in part due to roof top location but also the decor and surroundings in general. Staff were all excellent Whilst the food was great it was nothing exceptional but was pricey , perhaps the location has pushed prices up.

Nice place but no view other than crane so mo advantage being rooftop. Very limited menu and in all honesty very expensive for whst you get

I recently visited Rayleigh Rooftop Bar to celebrate a special occasion with my partner, but unfortunately, the experience left us deeply disappointed. While the venue itself is stunning, with a gorgeous ambiance and incredible views, our evening was overshadowed by a major mishap. After ordering drinks, the bartender accidentally spilled an entire glass of cocktail all over my girlfriend, including on her jacket, which has a fur trim. While accidents happen, what was particularly frustrating was the way it was handled. They offered not to charge us for the two drinks—one of which was the one spilled—but that felt insufficient given the situation. The alcohol completely soaked her jacket, and we had to pay for dry cleaning to restore the fur trim to its original condition. My partner was understandably upset, and the discomfort ruined the night for both of us. For a place that prides itself on delivering a high-end experience, I believe they could have done far more to make up for the situation—perhaps offering a complimentary meal or covering the dry-cleaning costs. Sadly, the lackluster response left us feeling undervalued as guests, and it’s unlikely we’ll return, which is unfortunate because the restaurant itself is beautiful. I hope Rayleigh can improve its customer service to ensure other patrons don’t have their evenings similarly ruined.
