Located on the sixth floor of The Mayson Hotel is Ryleigh’s Rooftop Restaurant, with outdoor terrace. Take in the panoramic vista of the Dublin Mountains, the River Liffey, the city centre and even as far as Dun Laoghaire on a clear day! Comfy leather clad booths line the windows. An open kitchen and grill adds a sense of theatre to the room. Floor to ceiling windows make the most of the views and the only walls in the room are clad in beautiful veined marble. Ryleigh’s serves breakfast, lunch, Brunch (Saturdays, Sundays and Bank holidays) and dinner. Ideal spot to grab a bite with family and friends. The dinner menu features tasty options such as Sizzling Prawns and Beef Tartare to start. A selection of Irish steaks for main (Striploin, Delmonico, Centre Cut Fillet, Tomahawk Ribeye for two, and John Stone's T-Bone for two) cooked over our charcoal grill, Pan-Seared Monkfish and delicious desserts such as Raspberry & white chocolate cheesecake and Sticky Toffee Pudding.

We booked at their website, automatically were transferred to Open Table website. Got the beautiful lunch menu on our reservation message . Got there for a Saturday afternoon at 2 pm and we were told is all day Brunch Menu, what is a completely different food. Not the worst, not the best. Service was great, she tried her best, but we felt cheated.

Fantastic experience at Ryleigh’s! They never disappoint, it’s our 5th time back and needless to say, we will keep coming back in the future! Food was outstanding, service was at a great pace and it is somewhere that is worth going to for a special occasion.

Disappointing Experience Due to Uncomfortable Dining Conditions I recently visited Ryleigh's for dinner and chose the “outside” seating area, assuming that the covered space would still offer a pleasant dining experience with a view. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Although the area is technically outside, it was fully covered, but not properly heated for the cold and windy evening. We noticed that other guests were using blankets and heaters were struggling to warm up the space. It was extremely cold and very unpleasant to have dinner in such conditions. I asked if there was a possibility to move inside, but was informed that no tables were available. I then requested to be informed if one became available, but no one followed up. Given the harsh temperatures, I strongly believe that the restaurant should either not accept reservations for the outside area on cold days or at least inform guests in advance about the situation, offering the option to cancel or rearrange the booking. The discomfort of dining in that freezing environment led to me feeling unwell the next day. Regarding the food, we ordered the tomahawk, which we had enjoyed before, but this time it seemed to have more fat than usual. Considering the price, the quality was not as expected. On a positive note, the service provided by Guillermo, our waiter, was exceptional. He was friendly, thoughtful, and attentive throughout the evening. His professionalism truly stood out and was the highlight of an otherwise disappointing experience. I hope the management takes these points into consideration, as better preparation for cold weather and improved communication with customers could make a significant difference.

Staffs are very polite and helpful. And you will be able to got 1 staff mainly serve you. Food and the environment is very nice.

I booked this restaurant for my partners birthday meal and overall the experience was lovely. There were just a few things that I was quite surprised by when paying premium prices. I asked for a nice table with it being my partners birthday, we were sat next to a view of a building site and by the drafty entrance door so I was a bit disappointed with this to start. Our server couldn’t have been lovelier throughout the evening to go out of their way to make sure everything was to our liking. We ordered the sizzling prawn sharer for starter and I was slightly surprised by the small size of the prawns. Still absolutely delicious with lovely warm bread! For starter we each had our own steak which was cooked to perfection. The sides we were disappointed with though, the mushrooms, truffle fries and buttered greens we felt used basic ingredients. For dessert we each had a cocktail which couldn’t have been tastier, my dream dessert cocktail menu!! They also surprised my partner with a happy birthday ice cream plate which was just lovely. Again the overall experience was lovely, I just feel some little things let this place down.

Loved every second of the experience — service is perfect, very attentive waiters / waitresses. Food is 10/10, the only criticism is that there were quite a lot of fish bones, which I did not enjoy. Strawberry mocktail was decent, but tasted more like a lemonade.

A throughly enjoyable evening, food was very good. A little chilly on the terrace but we expected that. Music was a little loud but we were right by the speaker. If honest waiter could have come out a little more frequently but over all we had a great evening - thank you.

Very expensive but the menu shows that. I did think the view from the roof top would be worth the extra but unfortunately we were facing into a construction site and had no view to speak of. Waitress was nice but came over every few minutes and seemed to catch us with our mouths full everytime. Minor detail but ho estly the lack of view was upsetting enough especially thinking it would be ideal for a romantic night out...it wasn't, it wasn't terrible either but I feel the main draw is the view and everything after that is secondary.
