From fresh seafood & house-made pastas to southern-inspired dishes, each meal is crafted to perfection. Rye Street Tavern promises an exceptional lunch, dinner, or brunch (begins Aug 10) dining experience for locals & visitors alike. Guests can enjoy a variety of dining environments, including an open kitchen with U-shaped leather booths, a stylish bar and oyster bar with panoramic Patapsco River waterfront views, & a spectacular outdoor dining area with a 75-seat island bar. Happy Hour offered Monday through Friday with half off of oysters on the half shell plus discounted beers, wines, & select cocktails. The food wasn't bad. Potatoes didn't have flavor, and the broccoli came out cold steak wasn't bad. Old bay wings were good

Bar staff seemed unprepared and the service was remarkably slow. Food was yummy but our table waited over 15 minutes for one guest to even receive their food….not a smooth dinner at all.

All the service staff were incredible but there were not enough bar tenders and bar area staff for a Saturday evening. This is more a management problem then the people working problem. Also the band was way too loud. And I like my music loud in general..but you couldn’t hear yourself think.

The thing that really makes this place is the atmosphere. We set a reservation and didn’t have to really wait for our table which was nice, and it was outside near the water. once we got seated, the service was not good because we never saw our server. The manager actually ended up coming over to take our order because we had been waiting for so long. The drinks took a really long time and we only ordered an appetizer for our food which also took 30 min to arrive at our table. (It was only two of us at our table btw). The server came finally AFTER we finished our drinks and food and had been waiting for another 20 min. By this point, we were ready to go. The server never served us so she didn’t get much of a tip. The live band was nice.

Impeccable service, great atmosphere and delicious food made for a wonderful family dinner date. Even before leaving we were planning a return visit.

What a beautiful addition to the Baltimore food scene. The outdoor areas are good for all ages, including kids! Food was outstanding. We started with fried mushrooms and beets. Two of us had the petite filets. Cooked perfectly and great potatoes. The others had lobster, pasta ragout, falafel salad and rockfish. All the entrees were superb. We saved room for dessert. Blueberry cobbler, key lime pie and the divine bread pudding. Nice selection of cocktails, beer and wine. We will return!
