Rye Knot is the first restaurant in North Carolina to brew its own beer and distill its own spirits. We serve outstanding plated pub fare. Our top sellers are Dry Aged steaks, fish and chips, burgers, smoked meatloaf, Reubens and Shaved Ribeye Sammies. Chef Ben Dunbar is a master cook whom delivers exquisite cuisine in both variety and presentation. Our bar has a dozen large screen televisions. We have plenty of outdoor seating. Absolutely wonderful restaurant with great ambience and food. Service was excellent. Definitely worth a repeat.

Waited forever for soup and then entrees. Had the mushroom soup (vegan) which was good. Ordered the fish and chips which were also good. The Reuben sandwich which fell apart with the bread was good but needed something to hold sandwich together. Ordered Ceasar salad with chicken and one with salmon. Salmon came out undercooked. Chicken one was fine but the lettuce and dressing didn’t taste good. Manager came over and was very apologetic. We booked this restaurant based on reviews and were very disappointed.

We a have been on Sunday before and had a much bigger menu selection. Realize times are different, but the paired down menu was a bit of a disappointment. That being said, this sleeper restaurant has a rocking drink menu and what the kitchen pumps out is stellar.

Rye Knot offers a wonderful variety of delicious dishes! The salmon is outstanding, the grilled chicken Sammy is yummy, beet salad with shrimp is a favorite of mine too. I could go on and on. Servers are welcoming, ambiance is artful . We love dining at Rye Knot !

The best meal (thus far) on our Asheville trip. The bourbon wasn’t bad either!

We were so excited to come here but over an hour for apps and two for entries. Restaurant was only a third full. Worst part was attitude from owner and waitress. My friends who are restaurant owners wanted to walk out... I thought at least the food was good but when I looked at the menu later realized many items were missing like the horseradish crema and mushrooms on my $22 sandwich. Too many great restaurants in the market that deliver to waste your time.

I had the smoked meatloaf, and it was truly one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to dine here again!

We really enjoyed our food tonight. The burger was fantastic. In fact, this is our favorite burger in Asheville now. The art on the walls was fun and it had a cool vibe. We liked that the bar was a separate area so we didn’t have to watch the TVs while we were dining. A+ on the food and the set up of the place.

They were ready for our party of 8. Very friendly and efficient staff and really good sandwiches and burgers! Their bourbon maple crème brûlée was a perfect dessert!! Next time in Asheville, we will return to Rye Knot!
