My son brought me to Ruth Chris Steak House for a treat, and it was. I enjoyed the food and service.

Had great experience from beginning to the end. Was immediately greeted by the host when I walked up the stairs. Very friendly and professional. Server/dinning room support staff top notch had great attention to details. Ruben our server was excellent. Would check back often to see how we are doing. He made sure we were taken care of. Dinning room support staff came perfect timing each time to remove our finish plates to setup for the next course. Food was great. Steak was cooked perfectly to order. Lobster tail tastes wonderful. Only minor issue was the Lobster Bisque might of concentrated a little, it was a bit on the salty side, but still good I did finished the soup. Chef’s Selection dessert tonight was cheesecake and berries. Wonderful dish to end the meal. Management was wonderful. Came by and check to make sure everything was excellent. It most definitely was. Would highly recommend anyone in or around Walnut Creek, CA. To stop by and enjoy a nice surf and turf dinner with a side of excellent dining experience.

SERVICE and FOOD was exceptional! Once again, we were all pleased with the decision to make this the venue to celebrate my brother and sis.

We were a group of 6 celebrating my wife’s birthday. Everything about our dining experience was exceptional. The AC was being repaired in one of the dining rooms, however their contingency plan worked well. Our server, Yvanya was fantastic.

Great food and service but the a/c was broken and they had a huge warehouse temporary a/c that didn’t work very well. The prices are super high like kind of outrageous for a chain. But the staff is super nice and worked hard to make the experience really great for moms birthday dinner. One last thing that irked me though it’s 2024 do we really need a call and a sign to tell us how to dress for dinner. It felt a little out of touch and tone deaf to the times of you ask me.

The server we had (Yavana I think her name was) was so nice. She made the meal. She instantly made the connection with us and constantly checked in to see how we were doing. The food like always was delicious and the ambience was nice.

2 people ordered the same thing. Filet. One medium rare, one medium. Not a difficult order. MR was fine, but the M was well done. The waitperson should have suggested an alternative that was quicker, instead they brought out the correction after dinner was over… I had them put my $65 in a box.

We always come here for special occasions, birthdays… not sure if it was because it was mid-week on a Wednesday night but we waited ridiculously long for our main entrees to arrive— to the degree that the waiter would come out multiple times to let us know they are working on it and would be very apologetic even when we didn’t say anything. And then the manager, also came out and apologized as the wait continued and he offered us all complimentary desserts which was a nice gesture. I mean it was over a half hour and some, and it didn’t seem too crowded so not sure if it was a staffing issue. The food is always excellent and prices as expected. But when you are there for almost 2.5 hours in total time, that’s just tough. We had to rush out as well to return home in time for the babysitter. Our server was nice and it wasn’t his fault so we didn’t want to penalize him as he wasn’t the one cooking… but sitting around for as long as we did, it was probably the worst experience we’ve had at Ruth’s Chris and we’ve been multiple times for birthdays, anniversary and graduation dinners. We may have to take a pause for now as you do pay a lot for your dinner and part of that includes timeliness. For awhile you’re just staring at each other thinking, what’s up?
