    My experience at Ruth’s Chris on Friday, December 20th, was far from the celebration I had hoped for. We made reservations to celebrate my birthday after riding Santa's Sleigh, and I specifically noted the occasion when booking. However, the evening quickly took a turn for the worse. After being seated, we waited more than 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. The table wasn't decorated for my birthday with confetti or any special touches, which I understand can sometimes be overlooked, but it was a bit disappointing, especially when Ruth’s Chris is known for making birthday celebrations a highlight. We placed our drink and meal orders, but the drinks took an unusually long time to arrive. In fact, my husband’s salad came before his beer, which was served in a bottle. After a long wait, our food arrived, but both steaks were served rare, despite being ordered medium. I didn’t want to cause a fuss, but the waitress insisted it was too rare and offered to have it remade. When my steak came back, it was overcooked and charbroiled to the point of being burnt. At that point, I asked to speak with a manager. The manager's response was underwhelming. Not only was there no apology, but he didn’t even acknowledge the lack of birthday celebration, which was a significant part of the experience I was expecting. He did remove my steak from the table, but the lack of genuine care for the situation was disappointing. In the end, they removed one beer and my steak from the check, which was appreciated, but didn’t make up for the overall poor experience. It’s unfortunate that Ruth’s Chris, which is usually a reliable go-to for special occasions, failed to deliver on this particular evening. What should have been a memorable birthday celebration turned into a frustrating and underwhelming experience.

    Amber, I am so sorry for the lack of confetti on your table in recognition of your big day. Your steak should have been cooked correctly the first time - failure to get it right a second time is most unsatisfactory. I apologize for our poor performance. I assure you that our top concern is providing the highest standards of quality in food, service, and hospitality. I am sorry we fell short with your experience! I am uncertain if you missed it, but Adam removed your Georgia Peach Tea, Modelo, Kid's Chicken Tenders Meal, Sweet Potato Casserole, and Filet from the check - over 50% of the total bill. I do hope that provides more relief. Thank you for writing in giving us the opportunity to improve and take corrective measures to prevent a future recurrence. Jordan Gentry General Manager

    Ruth Chris is the restaurant I always go to whenever I have a special occasion or just to have a great dining experience. I love the fact that there is a wonderful view of downtown while enjoying a delicious meal!

    I normally have a very enjoyable experience at Ruth’s Chris, however my meal was not enjoyable. I requested my filet medium, but it was pretty much rare. My shrimp came out uncooked! I did bring it to the attention of my waitress and manager. Both were very apologetic. The rest of the party enjoyed their meals.

    I had stuffed chicken breast and a caesar salad. Both were chefs’ kiss! The chicken was so tender, moist and delicious. I sat at the bar and the service was exceptionally great even with the restaurant being a full house. My drinks were so yummy! Don’t walk, run there!

    The location and ambiance of the restaurant, especially being seated by the windows is nice. The garlic salmon tasted wonderful, but the creamed spinach came out only slightly warm, which diminished the taste of the dish. Our waiter, Anderson, was not friendly or attentive at all, and did not do a good job servicing my table or many of the others in my area. His entire area had complaints about his service, which soured the whole experience for us and several other patrons. I will go to the other location next time for a better experience.

    While my experience was not necessarily to my liking due to a reservation concern, I was able to speak with Megan Cromwell and she addressed my concerns. The food was phenomenal, as always. I love Ruth’s Chris and Megan assured me that my concerns would be addressed. I can’t wait to revisit.

    Food was very good steaks were cooked. Perfect all the sides were tasty. Went for our anniversary received free champagne, and cheesecake. The dinning area was tastefully decorated for Christmas as well. Nice view of the city.

    Service was impressive when plates were delivered. But it was very spotty otherwise. there seemed to be a bottleneck in fetching drinks from the bar, and that meant we had difficulty getting service to bring our dessert course and then the check.
