Service was not the best we’ve had. Our server would disappear for long periods before returning to ask if we need a drink refill etc. she did spend a lot of time talking at the bar. We had a table near the bar. Food was delicious, service was lacking attention.

It was my birthday no one said happy birthday, the shrimp was salty, my drink was half full. Wasn’t a pleasant dinner experience at all.

We come here all the time and usually the service is stellar and the food is amazing but this time the apps were just okay and our server was subpar. We sat down (we had drinks from the bar) and weren’t given water for 20 minutes. We ordered wine with dinner that didn’t ever come. We had to ask for it three times before we finally got our wine and at that point we had already had our main entrees for 10 min. Maybe it was just an off night but I was kind of disappointed.

Food was top notch. Got the sea bass and the surf and turf. Views and property are amazing. Only issue was I think there was something with the kitchen that day- took an hour to get any of our food. Waitress did bring us some corn bread acknowledging the long wait. But still....an hour is a while!! Hopefully it's not normal we will be back to try again as the meals were delicious!

Been to rusty pelican a couple of times and it was excellent... usually order the same food but this time was not as great as the last couple times. Still good though!
