People make the experience, and our waiter Josh did just that. He was always there at the right time, consistent and knowledgeable regarding menu, drinks, and reservation details (which is very important to me). Truly the level of service and attention you expect from a staple Miami restaurant such as the Rusty Pelican. The food was on point and the drinks were beyond our expectations. I’m always happy to be back here and will continue to recommend the Rusty Pelican to all my fiends and acquaintances in the future. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience.

The food was excellent. The presentation of the food was remarkable. The noise in the bar was much too loud and children were running around screaming. Other than that it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely go back, but I wouldn't sit in the bar.

The portions were huge. The salads were a little overdressed, so I would ask for the dressing on the side next time. Other than that the seafood was phenomenal! For ambiance, the sunset was fantastic but once the sun went down, the restaurant was too dark to see our foods!! Overall experience was a great time!

Excellent! Good and drinks were great. Darwin provided top notch service. We had a great time. We will definitely come again. Highly recommend the seafood tower and the Brunch board for 2.

The food was absolutely delicious. We got the octopus as a starter and then the Cuban and the crab Benedict’s as our main. The quality was very good and the view was exactly what we were looking for. The only drawbacks are the required valet and it seemed like the kitchen was backed up. Overall, I would recommend.

First off, you’re paying for the view and the view alone. We were disappointed in our meal. Complimentary cornbread is served. It’s actually good but didn’t go with any meal in the meal. We ordered the spider roll as an appetizer. We both love sushi. This was honestly weirdest tasting spider roll we’ve ever had. For our meal we ordered the Rusty Pelican Board for Two. Very very disappointed in this meal. The lobster was dry and over cooked, the shrimp was dry and over cooked, not sure what all the different mashes were under the various items, but they were gross. The steak was a choice, not prime as you’d expect for this cost, tough and tasteless, no seasoning. Go to Houston, Texas and have a steak there!!! Will blow your mind Miami. As for seafood, there’s no place that does seafood any better than the Pappas restaurants. The coating on snapper was falling off and the fish was dry and tasteless. So upset we chose this place based on reviews for our last night in the area. Absolutely do not recommend this restaurant. Then to top it off my husband noticed paint scraped off back bumper of our car after using their valet. Didn’t say anything because ticket stub stated they’re not responsible. Very upsetting meal all the way around!
