Went there for our anniversary and sat up at the kitchen bar. Incredible food and cocktail menus, great atmosphere and was very enjoyable watching the kitchen and talking with all the staff. A favourite place in Burlington for sure!

Sat at the kitchen bar to watch, really enjoyed watching the cooking. Food was amazing!

I haven’t been in years and now I’m wondering what took me so long to go back. Was impressed with the food and flavours. Seppie was a gracious host with some good recommendations. Can’t wait to go back.

We’ve been to Rust a couple times now, each time being a great experience. Matt was our server on Father’s Day. He was quite attentive and always on top of things. And as always, the food was great quality. We got the cauliflower appetizer and Tomahawk to share. Will definitely be back again.

We were a little surprised on the limited menu with the offering, however we decided to stay and enjoy our time. Food is very good, my wife had the Bison burger and I had the Jerk chicken club We would come back again

Atmosphere was great we were outdoors. Weather was beautiful. Staff were very friendly. Only complaint was fries were lukewarm at best. It was a party of seven for out of the seven had fries two out of the four sent them back. The other two just couldn’t be bothered sending them back. Other then that everything was tasty

The food was superb. Service was mediocre and table at first was terrible. We asked to change and they first said all tables were reserved and then changed us to a better table. Server was not trained at all and it was my wife’s bday with no reference to it at all! Very noisy too. Won’t be be back soon.

I made a reservation for Rust for a special occasion. I wrote in my online reservation to please contact me re: tomahawk steak. I also called the restaurant directly, the same day of our reservation, and left a message about it (since that was my only option). Upon arrival we inquired about the steak and was told that in order to pre-order a steak we need to call them, or to leave message. When I stated that I did, as well as put it in my reservation request, the response was that they would look into it. We explained that we do not have the time that night to wait for the tomahawk steak, but look forward to hearing next steps in order to do so next time. None were given to us. Very disappointed as this was for a special occasion. Also surprising since we were willing to spend the money, and we put forth great efforts to get the meal we were looking forward to. While the food is always good at Rust, I do not think we will go back anytime in the near future as we were very disappointed with how the situation was handled.
