Depuis plus de 85 ans, le Russian Tea Room accueille les moments culturels déterminants de New York. Depuis que les membres du ballet impérial de Russie ont fondé ce restaurant en 1927, des acteurs, écrivains, politiciens et hommes d'affaires s'y sont retrouvés pour planifier leurs marchés et fêté les dernières performances au Carnegie Hall de leurs amis.

Service was indifferent to absent. Deserts were distinctly subpar. This expensive experience should have been top shelf front to back and it was anything but. Not recommended.

Caviar tasting appetizers was excellent. I ordered the beef stroganoff and it was spectacular. My three other quest enjoyed their meals thoroughly. The waitress was professional and pleasant. The front desk check in lady was polite and helpful.

Excellent service and ambiance. The lamb is good, but the wrapped salmon is dry, which appears reheated when the anticipation is especially wrapped around that salmon, soft and not dense.

This was an iconic experience that my friend and I both had wanted to do for some time and we were not disappointed. We were a little apprehensive as both of us have food allergies and navigating that in an afternoon tea can be challenging but they we very accommodating and we were truly grateful. The decor is amazing, we were there during a quiet time so the noise level was perfect for conversation and enjoyment of our delicious food, elegantly presented. Our servers we delightful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

This restaurant was a bucket list restaurant for my partner. We had a late reservation, and the service was warm and inviting. We had the borscht, beef stroganoff, apricot glazed duck with a cherry chutney and two lovely desserts, Baked Alaska and Chocolate Cherry Cake W/Cherry Ice Cream, all wonderful! The Olivier Salad was so tasty, I wanted the recipe. When we’re back in NYC, we’d go back.

Great birthday experience having afternoon tea. Customer service was impeccable. Ambiance exquisite. Sandwiches were tasty. Cupcakes a bit dry. Overall a great experience.

Naturally the food was excellent and the setting is stunning. But what really stood out was the service. The wait staff accommodated our every request for dividing orders due to our limited appetites. Hey, we’re in our late 70’s and just can’t eat those normal servings! Go to the RTH. GO!
