Depuis plus de 85 ans, le Russian Tea Room accueille les moments culturels déterminants de New York. Depuis que les membres du ballet impérial de Russie ont fondé ce restaurant en 1927, des acteurs, écrivains, politiciens et hommes d'affaires s'y sont retrouvés pour planifier leurs marchés et fêté les dernières performances au Carnegie Hall de leurs amis.

The meals and dumplings appetizer were amazing!! We had the best Moscow Mules I have ever had. Lastly the desserts were delicious. Highly recommend going here and just enjoy the ambiance.

Beautiful, clean restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious. Service was fantastic. It wasn’t too crowded so we didn’t have an issue w noise level.

Fabulous food! The service was excellent and professional without being pretentious. Beautiful interior. The beef stroganoff was outstanding, although the portion size was not huge. We enjoyed our delicious, relaxing meal without feeling pressured or rushed.

LOVED our server Andrea, so so so lovely and full of lovely conversation and fun facts. Fabulous cocktails, we adored our experience. Just wow. Thank you Andrea!

DO NOT GO Not a good place to eat in general. Felt like we attended a funeral. Not many original recipes and whatever we ordered was not good. Borsch has no meat and tastes like a bottled beet juice, khinkali were dry and weird. Pirozhki were dry, made with frozen puff pastry and ridiculously small. Only Horseradish vodka and salo were good. Sent some food back and left hungry.

Delicious dinner at the Russian Tea Room! My husband had the sea bass and I had the scallops. The atmosphere is as romantic as it ever was. The prices are a bit high, but the food was wonderful and this is a special place. It’s a New York icon for a reason. On a side note, any negative reviews I’ve read were for tea. Despite the name, I don’t think this is really a tea place. Go for dinner, and you won’t be disappointed. All the dinner reviews were glowing.

I’ve wanted to go to the RTR for a longtime. It was great to finally get there for a date night with my husband. Our waitress Dee was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The rest of the staff were all very kind. Borscht, Beef stroganoff and an assorted bread basket along with a Moscow mule (of course) were delicious. The decor added to the ambience and we saw children there for afternoon tea as well as adults. Lovely.
