Very attentive and helpful staff. We loved the food. First time back in many years and glad we went. Will definitely go again.

We dined during Restaurant WEEK and totally enjoyed our meal. The courses were the perfect size so as to not get too full. We had traditional dishes like borscht and beef stroganoff. The staff were very attentive and allowed us to enjoy a leisurely meal.

Outstanding dinner! Quality was fantastic, the service top notch. Ambience was exactly what you'd expect from a legendary establishment like this, 98 years old and yet whenever they did renovations last: it still looks in pristine order, and extraordinarily clean. Cannot understand why others would knock this restaurant, we had an utterly amazing dinner experience.

it's a bit pricey, but the restaurant is beautiful, the food is great, the service prefect and they played classical music!! Post matinee...it was ideal. We will do that again !!!

This is an iconic and beautiful place. It’s expensive, even by New York standards, and the food is just okay. I had the Beef Wellington- it was overcooked and dry. It was accompanied by a tablespoon or so of sauce, but it was too little to be much help. Certainly not worth the $58 it cost . My companion had the chicken Kiev, which was also very dry. I had the blintzes for dessert and found them too sweet and somewhat spongy. The waitstaff is attentive and very professional and the place is just stunning, although upon arrival, there is a slight smell of mildew. This is a bucket list place for tourists, but I wouldn’t go back.
