Rumi's Kitchen first opened more than a decade ago in Atlanta, the result of years of development by Chef / Owner Ali Mesghali. Showcasing the flavors of Iran -- fresh herbs, kabobs cooked over an open-fire grill -- quickly won loyal guests at the original location in Sandy Springs, GA and set us on pace to open our first restaurant outside of Georgia in 2020. Rumi was a 13th-century Persian poet whose words and life teach us how to find inner peace, happiness and love. We invite you to Rumi’s Kitchen where fresh, healthy food and attentive Persian hospitality await you.

Great place, food and ambiance! I made a reservation for 9 people but 11 ended coming and they were very accommodating! Food was delicious!

Nice ambiance from the decor outside when walking in and continued into the warmth inside. Definitely a high energetic level inside with many well dressed wait staff hustling through the passageways. Quick service for everything ordered. Great food.

One of the best middle eastern Afghani restaurants I have ever experienced. The food was great and very authentic. The portions are big. We took a few appetizers (the falafel was top shelf) and shared 3 mains for 4 people. Chicken, lamb and beef, all tastefully seasoned and cooked. The service was attentive but not over the top, just the right level of attention and service. Be careful with the bread - it’s addictive, and you should keep room for the food. The baklava, ice cream and cheese cake were all great.
