Rumi's Kitchen first opened more than a decade ago in Atlanta, the result of years of development by Chef / Owner Ali Mesghali. Showcasing the flavors of Iran -- fresh herbs, kabobs cooked over an open-fire grill -- quickly won loyal guests at the original location in Sandy Springs, GA and set us on pace to open our first restaurant outside of Georgia in 2020. Rumi was a 13th-century Persian poet whose words and life teach us how to find inner peace, happiness and love. We invite you to Rumi’s Kitchen where fresh, healthy food and attentive Persian hospitality await you.

Good and delicious food. We had reservation but still had to wait to be seated in a narrow and crowded area of entrance.

Our guest enjoyed the lunch. Everything, including appetizer and of course main course was delicious. Looking forward to seeing you again.

Everything was perfect. Very ahppy with the servie and food. However, the noise level is very high at this resturarnt. We had hard time hearing each other.

Our server was so attentive, accommodating and professional. She had a wonderful smile. The food was really authentic and tasty. The ghaimeh and mirza were outstanding. The sabzi was somewhat tired. Having fresh looking herbs is a must in a Persian restaurant.

Tasty meal and very nice service. Cool decor and busy restaurant. We had to wait 20 min to seat with a reservation.

We really enjoyed our first visit to Rumi's kitchen. Food is interesting and really satisfying. Service was attentive and prompt. Only downside was the noise level but we can forgive that for the overall experience. Well done!

We celebrated our 41st Anniversary there. Great location, easy parking. Excellent service, dishes were unique and delicious. You can see how bread is prepared. Gets warm at your table and the accompanying platter is superb!

Our server Autumn was wonderful. She gave us amazing suggestions for dinner, and she was very friendly and attentive. All of the staff seemed really great and seemed to have a great team atmosphere. Portions were huge so value was great. We dined on the patio so I don’t know what the noise level was in the restaurant. They had incense burning outside which adds to the experience and I think also may help keep bugs away? Overall great experience!
