Rumi's Kitchen first opened more than a decade ago in Atlanta, the result of years of development by Chef / Owner Ali Mesghali. Showcasing the flavors of Iran -- fresh herbs, kabobs cooked over an open-fire grill -- quickly won loyal guests at the original location in Sandy Springs, GA and set us on pace to open our first restaurant outside of Georgia in 2020. Rumi was a 13th-century Persian poet whose words and life teach us how to find inner peace, happiness and love. We invite you to Rumi’s Kitchen where fresh, healthy food and attentive Persian hospitality await you.

One of our most favorite dining spots-never disappoints! The food is delicious and plentiful and the staff/servers are exceptional. Can't wait to return again!

Rumi's menu provides a nice range of appetizers and entrees and presented me with "I want to order everything". Absolutely delicious roasted cauliflower, sea bass amazing, duck fesenjoon was outstanding, Gheymeh and chingjeh both were oustanding. Go there and expect to be impressed with the atmosphere, food and service.

First time at Rumi’s Kitchen for my wife and I, and what a great experience. Very friendly staff, our server Casey was amazing, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend their mouth watering take on the watermelon salad, just wow. We will be back!

We have been several times to Rumi's kitchen and as always, the food was super delicious, the staff was awesome and extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The restaurant is very clean. The ambient inside is beautiful. The portion are big and the prices are decent and worth every penny! This time we brought friends with us that never had eaten Iranian food before and they were blown away. The kept complimenting the taste of the different dishes and how amazing the restaurant is! Of course, we will be back, but I think our friends will go to Rumi's kitchen every time they are in Washington DC.
