Rumi's Kitchen first opened more than a decade ago in Atlanta, the result of years of development by Chef / Owner Ali Mesghali. Showcasing the flavors of Iran -- fresh herbs, kabobs cooked over an open-fire grill -- quickly won loyal guests at the original location in Sandy Springs, GA and set us on pace to open our first restaurant outside of Georgia in 2020. Rumi was a 13th-century Persian poet whose words and life teach us how to find inner peace, happiness and love. We invite you to Rumi’s Kitchen where fresh, healthy food and attentive Persian hospitality await you.

The food was excellent and the service was perfect. Our server was knowledgeable and made wonderful suggestions. We shared 5 appetizers and 2 entrees for a party of five and we loved them all! I will definitely go back!

This is not my first dinning experience at Rumi and, as usual, I had the best experience. Food, service, ambience, all was just perfect.

Terrible experience this time. Service was awful, but has been exceptional in the past. Repeatedly ignored us trying to order food/drinks. Worse bc we were celebrating a special occasion. Oh well, we’re done.

We were visiting from California and weren’t sure what to expect. The food was amazing and the service too. This will be now our go-to Persian restaurant in DC!

I will go back to Rumi for sure . I can not say enough on how wonderful their food, services, friendly staff, and ambience are ! I would highly recommend to go there .

Host personal wasn’t friendly and they spoke in Spanish when we didn’t like the table they first said there is no table and suddenly a table just was there by a miracle after a conversation in Spanish
