Chef Ali Mesghali’s love of cooking began while growing up in Esfahan, Iran and Los Angeles, California. This interest grew to become a passion and a career after Ali moved to Atlanta, Georgia. In the kitchen, as well as in the dining room, Ali is known for his pursuit of perfection, his intensity and a love for what he does. This unending aspiration for perfection has been instrumental in establishing the standard for Persian cuisine in Atlanta. His unique and flavorful touch has been wowing patrons at Rumi’s Kitchen and has created a place where people want to visit again and again. As always! Top Tier service from when you walk in. I invited to of my coworkers from my previous job since we wanted to catch up. They loved the food and so did I. I ordered the lamb and it was superb. They ordered the Cod and they were raving about how well it was done and the flavor. It does get a bit loud but that is because there are always larger groups and they are enjoying the atmosphere which is a plus. I will definitely be taking some friends coming from out of town next month.

Decided to try Rumi’s Kitchen for a mother + daughter date night, and we’ve been raving about it all day! The service and food was a 10/10! Our waiter, Carlos, was kind, patient and attentive. We’re already planning our next visit. Tip: THE LAMB IS AMAZING

Food superb. Very generous portions. Porcini mushroom hummus was to die for. Our server Carlos H was terrific - attentive, friendly, made recommendations but not pushy. He made the experience outstanding.

We love Rumis for lunch and dinner and were pleasantly surprised they now offer brunch! We had an incredible pastry stuffed with lamb and a Turkish “omelette” that was delicious. The on the house appetizer of pita and Bulgarian feta and radishes and walnuts and fresh mint leaves was also delicious. The young man and woman who waited on us were excellent: warm and efficient and helpful. We were going to see an exhibit at the High museum so we were able to walk right over. A great afternoon!

My waiter was not friendly he never gave his name. I was celebrating a birthday he did not really a know it and he was not accommodating. I have been to several locations and never had this experience

Our waiter Cole and the support staff did a great job. The food was delicious. The quantities are large and make a great 2nd meal the next day.
