Chef Ali Mesghali’s love of cooking began while growing up in Esfahan, Iran and Los Angeles, California. This interest grew to become a passion and a career after Ali moved to Atlanta, Georgia. In the kitchen, as well as in the dining room, Ali is known for his pursuit of perfection, his intensity and a love for what he does. This unending aspiration for perfection has been instrumental in establishing the standard for Persian cuisine in Atlanta. His unique and flavorful touch has been wowing patrons at Rumi’s Kitchen and has created a place where people want to visit again and again. Lamb ribs were true show stoppers for me!!! Flavorful, juicy and tender!! I wish they were an entree! Definitely going back for them! I also tried the crispy potato small plate, delicious! For my entree I got the soltani kabob with the a rumi passionfruit soda. I have absolutely no complaints! Next, I think I’ll try the pomegranate short ribs!

Carlos was a wonderful server. The duck was delicious and the ginger beer was so refreshing.

Carlos was AMAZING!!! He was so attentive to our group and made our dinner so enjoyable! He was such a good sport even though we were belligerent

We had a fabulous server Jordon helped us celebrate our 39 anniversary He was helpful gracious and added some goodies to our meal!!! We will be back and ask that Jordon serve us again

Rumi's always does an excellent job with the food! For our first time at this location, our waiter, Jordan, was fabulous! His knowledge of the food, his pleasant nature in describing it, and his attentiveness to our table were just the perfect amount! I would ask for him back as our waiter whenever I return.

I celebrated my birthday with a couple of my friends. The service was good and so was the food. We have all been there many times prior and we love the ambiance. Great place for any occasion
