Chef Ali Mesghali’s love of cooking began while growing up in Esfahan, Iran and Los Angeles, California. This interest grew to become a passion and a career after Ali moved to Atlanta, Georgia. In the kitchen, as well as in the dining room, Ali is known for his pursuit of perfection, his intensity and a love for what he does. This unending aspiration for perfection has been instrumental in establishing the standard for Persian cuisine in Atlanta. His unique and flavorful touch has been wowing patrons at Rumi’s Kitchen and has created a place where people want to visit again and again. Rumi’s was excellent, Freddy was very attentive without overbearing. My friend and I really enjoyed dinner. The salmon was moist and flavorful and I love the green chili chutney. Thank you Freddy for a great meal.

First time to Remi’s. Stephanie was our server and she was phenomenal! She explained the menu, provided suggestions (we asked) and was so very delightful. She was personable without being invasive. The food was outstanding. This was mine and my sister’s first time eating Persian food and it was delicious without the regret you sometimes feel after a large meal (it did not sit like a brick in our bellies!). We split the Chilean Sea Bass feast and still had great portion sizes. Everything from cocktail to dessert was prepared perfectly and the flavor profiles were diverse yet complimentary to each other. Would go back in a heartbeat.

An amazing, mouthwatering meal as always! My koobideh was cooked to perfection and all the dips were delicious. Just wish I had left room for dessert. As usual, the service was also fantastic, which is part of what makes it such a great experience every time. My only (slight) hesitation about eating at Rumi's is the noise level which is very high. I go early to get round that, but it is significant.

Amazing food. Amazing service. I brought a friend from LA here for our birthday and everything was 10/10. The ambiance was warm and cozy, yet modern. The food did not miss. The non-alcoholic beverage menu featured a high quality selection. But our waiter David truly made the experience. He presented the menu like a story, taking us through the key elements of each dish and his recommendations were flawless. He accommodated our special requests and ensured that the whole evening flowed smoothly. At the end of the night we found out it was only his second week on the job which made him and the experience that much more memorable. Keep an eye out for David, he’s truly a star and will make your meal magical.

Our server Freddie was absolutely incredible. He offered great food recommendations, was very personable, and even went the extra mile and helped me find security to get my car key since the valet station was closed. I can't recommend Rumi's and specifically Freddie enough. The food was excellent as well.

Our first time… beautiful restaurant and the food was absolutely first class. Simple food but the tastiest lamb in Atlanta… simple was VERY GOOD. Thank you

We ordered a variety of mains ranging from the Dutch Boy to Chilean Seabass and Lamb Kebab. We were all very pleased with our meals. Plenty of gluten free and nut free options as we had people with those allergies in our group. Our server, Leah was excellent and stayed cheerful even as we had some very specific requests.
