Chef Ali Mesghali’s love of cooking began while growing up in Esfahan, Iran and Los Angeles, California. This interest grew to become a passion and a career after Ali moved to Atlanta, Georgia. In the kitchen, as well as in the dining room, Ali is known for his pursuit of perfection, his intensity and a love for what he does. This unending aspiration for perfection has been instrumental in establishing the standard for Persian cuisine in Atlanta. His unique and flavorful touch has been wowing patrons at Rumi’s Kitchen and has created a place where people want to visit again and again. My lamb chops were very much overcooked and chargrilled to well done (when I requested medium or medium rare, I said either were fine). I'm not one to waste food, and it was later, so I didn't want to send them back, and the restaurant was slammed. A few of the pieces looked mangled even and were not attached to a bone.

super loud place…that said an amazing dining experience. nina, our server, made us feel welcome and led us through our magnificent dining experience.. rumis lived up to hype and expectation! very pleased.

Way too bright until 7:30. Then maybe too dark. Great food and cocktails try sharing and having everything come at once.

I took my niece there and we had a wonderful time. Her cocktail was the prettiest she had ever seen and tasted as good as it looked. We only had starters since they were so appealing and it was more than enough. June was terrific.

Fabulous food - you could fill up on small plates alone! Great drinks with unique ingredients. Enticing, fun, busy ambience. And Chase provided outstanding, knowledgeable service.
