Chef Ali Mesghali’s love of cooking began while growing up in Esfahan, Iran and Los Angeles, California. This interest grew to become a passion and a career after Ali moved to Atlanta, Georgia. In the kitchen, as well as in the dining room, Ali is known for his pursuit of perfection, his intensity and a love for what he does. This unending aspiration for perfection has been instrumental in establishing the standard for Persian cuisine in Atlanta. We went for a birthday dinner and could not have asked for a better experience! Carlos and an exceptionally talented team provided superior service. Every meal was delicious with an unbelievable sea bass cooked to perfection! Thank you Rumi’s we will be back!

The food was amazing. We had 4 dishes each and every ingredient was so refreshing and just the perfect harmony of flavors. A true pleasure for our palettes. The only downfall was the lack of lighting. Several tables all had their phones out trying to read the menu. Thankfully, the superb recommendations of our server was spot on and no menu was needed! Amazing service, amazing food, bring a flashlight.

We were seated next to a large large party of 25+ people. We were in a room where the sound echoed very bad. They were extremely loud and someone in our party was hearing impaired- she could not hear us at all and we felt like we were shouting to speak to each other. We asked to change tables and the hostess assured us they could try to work something out. (We were there on the earlier side and almost all tables were open). She told us we were not allowed to move and that the table would be leaving soon. (They did not). We spoke to a manager and told her the situation where she said it is their policy not to be able to move us once our apts were brought out. For the price of this restaurant this was very disappointing. You would think they would be able to accommodate us when the restaurant was mostly empty. Our experience was not great.

Our experience at this location was phenomenal, thanks to Laura! Although she mentioned she was new, she provided the best recommendations and outstanding service. The ambiance was lovely, and the food was amazing! We would definitely come back again, especially for the crispy potatoes!

Love Rumi's Kitchen. But we come to eat intentionally early when there are fewer customers because it is always loud the later we visit.
