Chef Ali Mesghali"s nearly lifelong love of cooking combined with his love for Sufism brought to life for the first time in Atlanta's culinary scene the concept of Rumi's Kitchen in 2005.
At Rumi's Kitchen, Ali has been able to artfully bring together an atmosphere full of joyous energy with attentive and generous Persian hospitality along with the unforgettable unique aromas and flavors of the Persian cuisine which is truly reflective of his simple intention to bring joy and happiness to the overall dining experience of the guests. Every member of the team at Rumi's Kitchen strives in delivering the service that is demanded by such a unique intention and vision.
While Rumi's Kitchen is a Persian restaurant at its core, the menu is constantly supplemented by dishes pulling influences from other countries, keeping the cuisine at the forefront of the dining scene in Atlanta.

Amazing food, amazing host,amazing waiters. Amazing atmosphere I would give this place 10 stars if possible definitely Will be a returning customer and, would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I love Rumi’s. Valentine’s Day when I made a reservation in December- shoved in bar high top with people squeezing by both sides whole dinner. Will keep going back, just not for V-Day

Have eaten here several times but our last trip on Valentines Day was disappointing. Our waiter was ill-trained and seemed bothered to wait on us. My shrimp kebab was overcooked with no seasoning. The obnoxious music thumping in the background ruined the ability to relax and enjoy a meal. Will be trying other Mid-EAstern restaurants.

We had a fabulous meal at Rumis in Avalon. The salmon and humus was to die for, and the fattoush salad dressing was extremely good. Our waitress Hana was the best part of our whole experience. She was on top of the menu and answered every question we had about menu selections to make suitable choices based off our pallet. We ended up sharing the Soltani Kabob as it was plenty to share after the appetizers. To the Manager: On a side note we were seated at a 2 person high table which was fine but it was right in the middle of waiter/waitresses and bus boys highway. The seating was awful as I was bumped into four different times until I complained to our waitress. It wasn’t so bad that you get bumped into but not one of them said excuse me or offered any acknowledgment that they hit me. I think it’s worth making this complaint because it was our first visit and I was told this was a very classy place. Move this table off the floor it’s a hazard and someone is going to get injured. Food was great! Service was great! Seating not so much!

Rumi’s Kitchen always delivers excellent service, atmosphere and cuisine. Definitely worth the drive. Our server, Joseph, was courteous and very attentive. Despite it being Valentine’s Day, we were not rushed. Reservations are always recommended. Love Rumi’s. Highly recommended.

The shrimp is almost always overcooked. My favorite dish, I’m a regular. If I don’t specifically ask to not overcook- it’s always overcooked

Rumi’s was very good. I had the love and peace cocktail as well as the Rumi’s wings as an appetizer. My waiter offered me gluten free bread, amazing! Very flavorful flat bread. I had the chicken kabob and my husband had the filet mignon kabob or beef kabob. Everything was delicious and gluten free!

We sat at the bar and received excellent service. The food was fresh and delicious too.
