Chef Ali Mesghali"s nearly lifelong love of cooking combined with his love for Sufism brought to life for the first time in Atlanta's culinary scene the concept of Rumi's Kitchen in 2005.
At Rumi's Kitchen, Ali has been able to artfully bring together an atmosphere full of joyous energy with attentive and generous Persian hospitality along with the unforgettable unique aromas and flavors of the Persian cuisine which is truly reflective of his simple intention to bring joy and happiness to the overall dining experience of the guests. Every member of the team at Rumi's Kitchen strives in delivering the service that is demanded by such a unique intention and vision.
While Rumi's Kitchen is a Persian restaurant at its core, the menu is constantly supplemented by dishes pulling influences from other countries, keeping the cuisine at the forefront of the dining scene in Atlanta.

Everything was great. We have eaten there many times and the food was not quite as good as in past bc it came out cool. I think our waiter messed up the order bc it took forever.

Food was absolutely excellent, and service amazing! It was our first time, and we are already looking forward to going back. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed this meal. Highly recommend it. Great taste, filling, and felt like healthy eating.

Food was excellent! The Lamb kabob was extremely tender and portions generous. Unbelievable rice as well.

Hosts were inviting even though we were a little late with our reservations. Food was excellent. It was so good! The highlight was our server Irving. He was an awesome server. It was my wife’s birthday and he made her day. Will definitely be back and will ask for Irving again if possible. 10/10. We really enjoyed our dinner

The restaurant is beautiful. The food very good. Very creamy hummus. The kabob good but the sea bass was amazing! Our waitress Diana was outstanding and made our experience special. The drinks are a bit pricey though.

Always so good, we had the lamb hummus, grilled shrimp with feta jalapeño Creme, fattoush salad and Barg kabob…delicious, and service was great.

Awesome experience & food with service . Requested for my wife birthday dinner and they surpriseed us with Baklawa ice cream cake. All the more it was not charged. Rumi’s at Avalon is great.

We love rumis! Have eaten here more times than I can count. The food never disappoints! Out standing. Only complaints are tables are pretty crammed together and noise level inside can be very very loud. But the food almost makes the noise worth it.
