Chef Ali Mesghali"s nearly lifelong love of cooking combined with his love for Sufism brought to life for the first time in Atlanta's culinary scene the concept of Rumi's Kitchen in 2005.
At Rumi's Kitchen, Ali has been able to artfully bring together an atmosphere full of joyous energy with attentive and generous Persian hospitality along with the unforgettable unique aromas and flavors of the Persian cuisine which is truly reflective of his simple intention to bring joy and happiness to the overall dining experience of the guests. Every member of the team at Rumi's Kitchen strives in delivering the service that is demanded by such a unique intention and vision.
While Rumi's Kitchen is a Persian restaurant at its core, the menu is constantly supplemented by dishes pulling influences from other countries, keeping the cuisine at the forefront of the dining scene in Atlanta.

    We brought clients for dinner and it was excellent! 3 of us had the Chilean sea bass and it was amazing, as always. Delicious appetizers and a super attentive waitress Karen made it a great experience. We’ll be back!

    Very good. Server was polite and accommodating. Some confusion when first got there. We sat for about 15 minutes with no one coming to take drink orders. I had to go to the hostess to ask if our table had been assigned a server. When the server came to our table, he said there was a mixup on who was assigned our table’s ticket. Also we ordered hummus which took a long time to come out. They delivered the bread early which was cold by the time the hummus arrived. Should be brought out together.

    Lots of unique choices. All of them great. Exceptional service. Was asked promptly about any food allergies.

    I absolutely adore the Alpharetta spot! We indulged in the salmon hummus, corn ribs with jalapeño butter, and Chilean sea bass. Every dish was exceptional and bursting with flavor! Our server, Mori, was extremely attentive and accommodating, ensuring we had a perfect dining experience. Highly recommend this place!

    Excellent service, amazing food. Overcharged for 2 glasses of wine, but caught it on the bill and was corrected. Love Rumi’s!!!

    Knowing Rumi's is going, and Avalon being such a great shopping area, we brought a friend from out of state for a delicious dinner with great restaurant staff, and we enjoyed ourselves. Our waiter Anthony was attentive and fun to talk to, had great suggestions when we asked, and stayed on top of everything. It's great to know that if we come to Rumi's they'll make lamb properly with great flavor and tender, and have delicious appetizers and dessert. Our friend has never had sumac before and absolutely loved sprinkling it on her meat. I think she's going to buy some and add it when her family grills. She might try pomegranate molasses also.

    We’ve been to Rumi’s several times and the food is always prepared to perfection. The grilled veggies are my first choice so I haven’t had much of the rice. We had a birthday in our group and our friend was treated very well! We’ll be back!
