Chef Ali Mesghali"s nearly lifelong love of cooking combined with his love for Sufism brought to life for the first time in Atlanta's culinary scene the concept of Rumi's Kitchen in 2005.
At Rumi's Kitchen, Ali has been able to artfully bring together an atmosphere full of joyous energy with attentive and generous Persian hospitality along with the unforgettable unique aromas and flavors of the Persian cuisine which is truly reflective of his simple intention to bring joy and happiness to the overall dining experience of the guests. Every member of the team at Rumi's Kitchen strives in delivering the service that is demanded by such a unique intention and vision.
While Rumi's Kitchen is a Persian restaurant at its core, the menu is constantly supplemented by dishes pulling influences from other countries, keeping the cuisine at the forefront of the dining scene in Atlanta.

    Always enjoy Rumi’s. Today however the Lima beans in the dill rice were mushy, overcooked. And it was very loud at only 4:00pm. Service was great as usual.

    We love Rumi's and have been many times. It's just loud but there's nothing that can be done about that. Patrick's service was outstanding (Sat. 9/14).

    Service was perfect! We all enjoyed our food. We were celebrating a birthday and a complimentary dessert was brought to out. We sat inside and the noise level made it difficult to hear any one at the other end of a 6 person table!

    Rumi’s is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Alpharetta. The food is always fantastic & the service is wonderful!

    Beef shish kebab with rice continues to be my favorite. Great flavors and leftovers perfectly heatable for the next day.

    We are long time customers and they failed on this occasion. Assistant manager found it hard to just own the poor service and offered free appetizers after a 55 minute wait for food. When we got the bill the appetizers were still on the bill. Until I decided to call over the manager did we get any apologies or did anyone seem to care. We will give it one more try but there seems to be a definite shift in the wrong direction for this location.
