Chef Ali Mesghali"s nearly lifelong love of cooking combined with his love for Sufism brought to life for the first time in Atlanta's culinary scene the concept of Rumi's Kitchen in 2005.
At Rumi's Kitchen, Ali has been able to artfully bring together an atmosphere full of joyous energy with attentive and generous Persian hospitality along with the unforgettable unique aromas and flavors of the Persian cuisine which is truly reflective of his simple intention to bring joy and happiness to the overall dining experience of the guests. Every member of the team at Rumi's Kitchen strives in delivering the service that is demanded by such a unique intention and vision.
While Rumi's Kitchen is a Persian restaurant at its core, the menu is constantly supplemented by dishes pulling influences from other countries, keeping the cuisine at the forefront of the dining scene in Atlanta.

    Our meals were so delicious! Their rice was amazing and everything was cooked to perfection. My husband enjoyed the steak kabob, my friend had the veal kabob, her husband had the steak, and I loved the chicken kabob. Great wine selection too. Highly recommend.

    Rumi’s is simply the best restaurant in Alpharetta! Food is consistently fantastic as is the service! Highly recommended!

    One of our family favorites in Georgia, the Avalon Rumis is our default choice for all occasions and even no-occassions! Great food, lovely environment and nice service, a rare complete combination, something that is all worth the wait when we go without reservations, although reserving a table is strongly recommended. Michelle our table service officer (on 13 October 2024) was polite, kind and fantastic. We love Rumis and will continue coming back! Thank you!

    One word “chaos”. It was way too busy; inside, outside, everywhere. Lines to get near hostess. Dozens of people waiting outside. Kids and babies everywhere. Not a place for a date. Although, Food was awesome. . Never again on a weekend. I’ll stick with Delbar on Saturday nights.

    Amazing experience as our waitress took the time to educate us on the cuisine and cuisine. Excellent service and the food was amazing. Definitely coming back!

    Fantastic food, 10/10, amazing service. Amazing flavor in all of their food, I highly recommend exploring the appetizers also.

    Rui's is awesome. Sat at the bar. Food and beverages were phenomenal. I eat here monthly. Sometimes weekly. Ok, I admitted it.
