Welcome to Rumi's Kitchen - Sandy Springs! The premier Sandy Springs location for Persian Cuisine. Owner and Head Chef Ali Mesghali’s unique and flavorful touch has been wowing patrons for over 20 years. His previous restaurant, Persepolis, was a Sandy Springs favorite.

Rumi’s Kitchen - Sandy Springs draws influence from the culinary mother of the Middle East, Persia, which spanned from the banks of the Nile River in the west to the mountains of Northern India in the east, and from the shores of the Caspian Sea in the north to the deserts of Arabia in the south of the Persian Gulf.

    Rumis is always outstanding. But there is no where for patrons with hearing issues to enjoy the environment. Sitting outside was not an option and the dining room had sound bouncing everywhere. It made it really hard to have a conversation with my 80yo mom.

    It was a Tuesday (wife’s birthday) and unfortunately although I had a reservation - we were out in a patio room with a server also waiting other tables in the inside room - so the delay in getting our order in and when it arrived - then when the server came back (at least 20 minutes at one point) - ended up taking 2 hours for just appetizers and dinner - service was simply slow and felt like we were just another couple/number

    Jonathan Billy Beford. I mean what can I really say. Not only did he give me and my beautiful wife an amazing experience and birthday, but he also showed us the beauty of human connection. This was our first time here and he really walked us through the Persian experience from start to finish. We will be back in a Fortnite! Way to go Jonathan!

    Made my parents anniversary so special, they literally bragged about and blew my phone. They are both in their 70s and been together for over 30 years this place wowed them thanks for making feel appreciated . I will 100 percent book here if they felt that special!!! I normally book them for one of the buckhead life restaurant groups but have gone down. Thank you making their anniversary special -restaurant and staff :)

    Food, service, & atmosphere were all fantastic. The chinjeh lubia polo (beef sirloin kebabs with yogurt sauce & basmati rice) & mirza ghasemi (smoked eggplant & tomato spread) were definite standouts. My only caution is that, on busy evenings, the valet line can become a bit of a bottleneck. Aside from that, everything else was perfection.

    Phenomenal food. So tasty. Cocktails are beautifully crafted. Service was excellent. Our waitress, Gabriela, was knowledgeable, attentive and talked passionately about the menu. Her recommendations did not disappoint.
