Welcome to Rumi's Kitchen - Sandy Springs! The premier Sandy Springs location for Persian Cuisine. Owner and Head Chef Ali Mesghali’s unique and flavorful touch has been wowing patrons for over 20 years. His previous restaurant, Persepolis, was a Sandy Springs favorite.

Rumi’s Kitchen - Sandy Springs draws influence from the culinary mother of the Middle East, Persia, which spanned from the banks of the Nile River in the west to the mountains of Northern India in the east, and from the shores of the Caspian Sea in the north to the deserts of Arabia in the south of the Persian Gulf.

    Our server Michael made it such a fun night with helping us explore the menu and drinks with our new dietary restrictions. He introduced us to some delicious drinks NA wines and their fresh made daily craft sodas were delicious.

    Our server, Hannah, was fantastic. The food is always delicious and it wasn’t as loud as usual. The perfect evening out.

    Our server was Jonathan and he was great! Explained various dishes and service was prompt but with no feeling of being rushed. The food was delicious and the crème brûlée was one of best I’ve ever eaten! This was our first visit here and will return.

    Very good food and an enjoyable experience, but seemed like our server didn’t have enough help. Great guy, so nice and knowledgeable, but not enough hands to handle all the tables in our area. Long wait on wine - served with the entree - and almost finished with our food before we got the sauces. He needed help. But still a great meal.

    Always enjoy Rumi's. Excellent food, great cocktails and wine, and top-notch service. Dani was our server on September 15, and she was excellent. Definitely exceeded expectations. Thank you Dani and Rumi's kitchen for a wonderful culinary experience.

    Our server and Dani was beyond exceptional. We just kept saying over and over, “she is such a good server“. She was professional, timely, always filled our water, always provided more tea and Diet Coke. She is above and beyond an exceptional employee! We will be back and hopefully be served by her again.

    Our waiter Michael would bring us back to the Sandy Springs location any time! He was attentive, kind, worked quickly but wasn’t hurried, a good conversationalist but not over bearing, helpful in navigating the menu. I will say the Labne appetizer is better at the midtown location but overall the food is amazing and delicious!

    Rumi’s is our favorite restaurant, and is always consistent until this visit. They were 30 min late for our reservation, and they did send appetizers for the inconveniences, however we sat down, took a while to order. we were celebrating a friends birthday and they brought a beautiful dessert platter, however when eating the persian Ice cream sandwich, there was a very sharp piece of plastic in the the cream. I showed the server - he came back and said it was part of the ice cream container and he apologized - that was it. I was fortunate to not have swallowed it. The whole experience was subpar at best this time.
