Welcome to Rumi's Kitchen - Sandy Springs! The premier Sandy Springs location for Persian Cuisine. Owner and Head Chef Ali Mesghali’s unique and flavorful touch has been wowing patrons for over 20 years. His previous restaurant, Persepolis, was a Sandy Springs favorite.

Rumi’s Kitchen - Sandy Springs draws influence from the culinary mother of the Middle East, Persia, which spanned from the banks of the Nile River in the west to the mountains of Northern India in the east, and from the shores of the Caspian Sea in the north to the deserts of Arabia in the south of the Persian Gulf.

    Our server and Dani was beyond exceptional. We just kept saying over and over, “she is such a good server“. She was professional, timely, always filled our water, always provided more tea and Diet Coke. She is above and beyond an exceptional employee! We will be back and hopefully be served by her again.

    Our waiter Michael would bring us back to the Sandy Springs location any time! He was attentive, kind, worked quickly but wasn’t hurried, a good conversationalist but not over bearing, helpful in navigating the menu. I will say the Labne appetizer is better at the midtown location but overall the food is amazing and delicious!

    Rumi’s is our favorite restaurant, and is always consistent until this visit. They were 30 min late for our reservation, and they did send appetizers for the inconveniences, however we sat down, took a while to order. we were celebrating a friends birthday and they brought a beautiful dessert platter, however when eating the persian Ice cream sandwich, there was a very sharp piece of plastic in the the cream. I showed the server - he came back and said it was part of the ice cream container and he apologized - that was it. I was fortunate to not have swallowed it. The whole experience was subpar at best this time.

    The service from Hannah was some of the best I've had in recent memory! The food was great as always and love the high energy atmosphere.

    Our server, Michael, provided exceptional assistance by thoroughly explaining the menu to our guests dining with us for the first time. The flavors of the dishes and the overall dining atmosphere were simply wonderful.

    As always, great food! The dimmed lights at night may be too dark for some eyes! Our server Michael was great!

    We sat at the bar. It was cold inside. They food was amazing Our bartender was missing for long chunks of time

    It was way too loud to have a good conversation. There needs to be some type of buffering to tamp down the noise level.

    Only feedback that I have is that it took us 25 minutes to get seated when we had a reservation. Otherwise great food great service.
