Rum Room is a modern Latin restaurant located in the heart of Miami Beach. Chef Ismael Lasalle brings his passion for Caribbean cuisine to the table, creating dishes that are both flavorful and visually stunning. We chose Rum Room for a pre-concert dinner. It is a quick walk to the New World Symphony. The service was welcoming and excellent and food was great. The menu is a bit limited, but everything we had was delicious. We got mojitos to start and then the fish dip nachos made with smoked fish and house made yuca chips. These had wonderful flavor, not overpowering. My friend had the Rum Room burger with fried green tomatoes, bacon jam and pimento cheese. She adored it. That's too rich for me, so I had the grilled salmon with maracuyo sauce, succulent and perfectly cooked. Also had the side of charred broccoli with red pepper aioli. Crunch and just spicy enough. This place needs to advertise. I live nearby and none of my neighbors knew about it. Get the word out.

I love Rum Room for the HH and live music. It is a nice place to share a drink with friends

This place was unbelievably awesome! Our server Tanya, could not have been more attentive and informative about everything. The manager that was there, I believe her name was Thalia came by constantly, and made sure that we were taken care of in the best way possible. Serhii the bartender was extremely knowledgeable about every single drink at the bar and then some ! 10/10 , definitely coming back again!

Food was great- plated very well and taste was great too. Really like their soup of the day. We were there at the happy hour time- drinks were nice and rich (not like most of the places that you get mostly juice, we had cuba libre and mojito- both were really good). appetizers were great too. Manager did stop by to make sure everything was fine- we had group of 6 people. Also chef did come out as we had questions about spices in the soup (as we really liked it), and chef did show their fresh herb garden in the back- no wonder the taste and presentation is very good! Loved it. we would go back again once again in Miami Beach!

Overall excellent experience. Food and drink all first rate. We were a group of six and could easily converse with each other. Only critique would be that the menu is fairly limited.

Great pairings of ingredients. Enjoyed all the dishes Just googled and gave it a try with catchy name They should have included a rum cocktail with V day promotion to push concept. Seems they will be around for time to come. May be back this weekend with boat show in town
