    The food was tasty, the service and atmosphere were both great, but all things considered it was way overpriced for what you get. This is the second restaurant I've been to in Downtown Charleston that's tried to pass off simple things like fried chicken, cornbread, soup, and potatoes, as an elevated dining experience, and at such modest portions to boot. I hate to be so harsh because the food really did taste great; their honey roasted carrots are amazing, a real eye-opener. But come on, that's just a side dish. We ordered from the Charleston Restaurant Week menu and still racked up $150 for stuff that I felt like we honestly could've got anywhere in Charleston. Not really impressed! But they nail the vibe they're going for.

    Raymond was an excellent server. Food was well prepared and very tasty. Chicken Pot pie and Banana Pudding were standouts.

    The General Rudy was outstanding. Flavortown in a bowl. A wonderful take on a Chinese favorite. The chicken pot pie was creamy and delicious.

    We originally had reservations for 7 pm but were able to sit earlier. The service was good, and the food was excellent. I had the fried chicken and my wife had the chicken pot pie. Both were delicious. The noise level was okay and part way through the meal they changed the music to classic rock, which suited us old folks just fine. The prices were fine for downtown Charleston, and it wasn’t too busy. To be fair, it is early January. We’ll definitely be back.
