Ruby is a Melbourne styled brasserie, drawing influences from brassieres and unique wine bars in London and New York. Offering an all day dining menu, it is situated between the hustle and bustle of the shopping and law districts in Melbourne’s CBD.

Ruby is helmed by chef James Cornwall, who across 20 years has honed his skills in venues such as J Sheekey in London, Seafood Room in Hong Kong, as well as Melbourne’s own Iki Jime and Cumulus Inc.. Guests can expect a menu full of bold flavours and colours, as well as a curated wine list and specialty cocktails.

Ruby Dining turned out to be a lovely little hidden gem. Seems to be in the quieter end of time for evening dining but that doesn't stop it from packing a punch in the food department. Cocktails and food were divine and definitely worth another visit for the prawn toast alone. Overall a lovely dining experience with quality food, couldn't fault any of the dishes.

I had an incredible steak and wine experience! The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. Paired with a rich, full-bodied wine, it made for a delightful meal. The ambiance was cozy, and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

Excellent friendly service by Nadia and (Alberto) the Italian 🇮🇹. We had the Chefs choice menu and every dish was a delicious experience. We also indulged in a few Margaritas that were made to perfection. Great service Great meal & Great venue. Compliments to the 🧑‍🍳 & staff ⭐️

Experienced the chef selection at $85, dishes were accommodated for my dietary requirements without fuss. Enjoyed every dish.

Very good food and excellent service. Ambiance left a little to be desired due to low number of diners at time I was there. Overall, a very positive experience.

The steak frites was well-cooked; however, the fact that bearnaise sauce is no longer an option was disappointing. The current peppercorn sauce does not really enhance the flavour of the dish. If you could bring back the bearnaise sauce, we would return at least once a fortnight!
