You’ll find an elegant dining experience with a relaxed and refined atmosphere at the Prince of Wales Hotel with the Royal Stewart Dining Room, Windsor Lounge and Afternoon Tea.

Take part in a time honored Waterton tradition with Afternoon Tea at the Prince of Wales Hotel. Inspired by British tradition, Afternoon Tea features a selection of teas from Jolene's Tea House (Banff, Alberta) and a variety of delectable sandwich squares and pastries. 24 hours are required for any dietary restrictions.

Tea is served in the Royal Stewart Dining Room, which overlooks Waterton Lake for some of the most spectacular views around. Join us for this unique experience daily from 12 PM to 4 PM during the summer operating season.

Looking for Dinner, join us in the Royal Stewart Dining Room between 5 PM - 9:00 PM and watch the sunset while you dine on locally inspired dishes.

The Windsor Lounge is open seating with first come, first served.

    Service was a little slow, but I believe they were short staffed. Appetizers arrived before drinks. Not good. Server was very courteous. Overall, food was good but not outstanding.

    Could not have had a better, upscale, afternoon "British Tea" experience!! Bravo to all the staff and the cooks as the food and presentations were excellent, table settings magnificent, unbeatable view, and a fabulous service experience from Adrian! My wife could not have been more pleased with her unforgettable birthday treat!! Thanks everyone -- jolly good show!! 👍👍👍😁🤗🙏

    The service was extremely slow. Took one hour to get our food , 25 minutes to get milk for my tea. The waitress Anna knew very little about the history of the hotel. Rather disappointing. Why would someone working in such a historic setting not give a little history? Furniture is soiled and dirty, a little cleaning would be good. Also, waitress never remove used trash bags, trash etc. Just let it pile up. Not pleasing!

    The High Tea was a very special experience, with a great tea selection, delicious savory and sweet treats and attentive service. And the view is spectacular!

    Service was very good, atmosphere nice, the food was adequate but small portions and way overpriced. Breakfast was very good and a much better value. Service is fantastic!

    High tea at the Prince of Wales was fabulous . Beautiful dining room overlooking the lake . Great selections of teas , great pastries, cookies and sandwiches . Servers were wonderful if a bit over worked . Great way to spend a relaxing afternoon after hiking in beautiful Waterton .
