First licensed in 1880 the heritage listed Royal Cricketer’s Arms hotel in Blacktown is a crowd favourite with locals as well as visiting guests, just as it was more than 100 years ago.

This charming establishment has not been affected by our fast-paced society and still relies on friendly service and great pub food in relaxed leafy surrounds. The original hotel and residence make you feel as if you have stepped back in time and are a wonderful spot to relax and watch the world go by.

The pub is open 4 days a week with a modern and affordable menu, allowing guests to dine by the original fireplace in winter or in our spectacular beer garden among 100 year old willows and a spectacular jacaranda.

Known to locals as The Cricketers and located in the Blacktown entertainment precinct right next door to Atura Blacktown and Skyline Drive In, and right around the corner from Raging Waters Sydney , there is something for everyone!

Food was average. I was disappointed with the dessert because it was beautiful but the size of it was basically a mouthful. It was the chocolate brownie. It’s a beautiful place.

Food was very good, arrived quickly. Very friendly staff, RAC has been a favourite for a long time, would have been nice to be able to open the doors in the room we were in but other than that we had a great night as always

Lovely atmosphere and good food. Had to wait a while to order, but our food came out quite quickly after that.

There is a group of us that get together and catch up and it’s always a great day spent there .. The bar staff are great and the food is always fresh and tasty The bar is always staffed and it doesn’t take long to get a drink and get back to your table Great place and will continue to catch up there every month this year

Great place to meet up with friends for lunch. A group of us spent a long leisurely couple of hours catching up whilst enjoying a tasty lunch and a glass (or two) of wine! Will definitely revisit.

I’ve had the pleasure of dining at the Royal Cricketers Arms numerous times, and the YFD (Your Funeral Director) Christmas Gathering was no exception to its charm. The historic venue always provides a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the festive touches added an extra special vibe to the event. However, during the Christmas season, it would be great to see table service offered, especially for group gatherings, as it enhances the experience and makes it feel more seamless. Additionally, expanding the menu to include more vegetarian and pescatarian options would be a thoughtful touch, accommodating a wider range of dietary preferences. On a brighter note, the fantastic news that cash payments are once again accepted was much appreciated! Overall, a lovely gathering, and I look forward to seeing the venue continue to grow and improve its offerings in the future. 🎄✨
