Installé dans la résidence qui accueillait le Walls Butcher Shop original et situé sur la très ancienne Jermyn Street, Rowley's Restaurant a su conserver le charme et l'histoire du bâtiment du 19e siècle. Avec les tuiles originales qui tapissent les murs et l'éclairage tamisé, ce restaurant vous offre une atmosphère détendue et réconfortante. Le menu britannique à thème change régulièrement, mais inclut toujours la fameuse entrecôte accompagnée de la sauce au beurre et herbes secrète qui est laissée à grésiller sur un brûleur à votre table, le tout accompagné de frites à volonté. Le Rowley's est l'endroit idéal pour les dîners d'affaires et les repas avant théâtre.

We ordered 2 different types of steak, cooked two different ways. When they arrived, they looked exactly the same in every way. Sirloin v ribeye. I mentioned this to the waiter , who said they were different cuts, but that they were the wrong way round, so we switched identical steaks. The salad I ordered was wrong, so had to be changed. Service - nice lady server. Others a bit to chummy. Disappointing meal - I wouldn’t go back.

We enjoyed an excellent dinner very good food well and cheerfully served. Not that cheap but it is Central London! We will be back.

As a solo diner travelling, it was a very pleasant quiet dinner. Entrecote steak & fries very nicely done.. Will return

We ordered French onion soup and chateaubriand. The food was presented very well and tasted great. The service was prompt, and they were very friendly. The ambiance was elegant.

We met old friends for lunch -were served by a delightful young man Ben and a lovely young lady whose name I’m afraid I didn’t catch - calamari to share to start with snd 3 entrecote steaks and one burger - all delicious washed down with excellent reasonably priced wine
