We were seated promptly and in an excellent location. Service was courteous and prompt. Everything ordered was exactly as described and delicious. This is a must repeat experience.

Very much a cocktail bar first and a restaurant last. Word of advice: the “counter” is not the bar and it’s the worst part of the restaurant. Had reservations for nearly a month and our table of two was in the back corner of the restaurant facing a dirty glass barrier and the wall at the “counter”. When asked if we could move to one of the five empty bar seats or four empty tables of four, we were told that groups of 2 can’t be seated at four tops. I imagine Rough Rider is far more enjoyable with a large group just grabbing drinks. Wife’s salad was hilarious: inch thick slices of zucchini with gobs of goat cheese and a dozen pomegranate seeds. Duck breast was fine. Crab dip was delicious. Go for drinks and appetizers, leave for dinner.

Love this restaurant. Good vibe, sexy, classy environment. The food is excellent and drinks are yummy. We celebrated 3 Birthdays, but would also be a great date night :)

Leaves something to be desired... Seafood was fresh and tasty, charcuterie board was meh and the potatoes and artichokes were amazing. We had a group and sampled the duck, pork and steak - all good but nothing to write home about. Drinks were creative and fun --- service could have been more friendly and welcoming. Overall feel of the space is lackluster. Almost as though it's not complete, maybe that's the idea? Chairs are not the most comfortable... but with a time limit on tables, perhaps that too is the intention to prevent lingering. Won't return as there are so many other options in the area.

Our server, who unfortunately we don’t remember her name, but she did have a blue taranatula tattoo on her hand. She was very attentive, very helpful, filled up our drinks without us asking, she was very good and very deserving of a great tip.

Our server, Emilia, was an absolute gem. It was our first time dining here as visitors from Chicago. She first asked us what types of things we like and THEN curated options on the menu that she knew we would like. She was absolutely spot on. From drinks, apps, dinner, all the way to dessert. We have our 8 closest friends coming to town in two days and will be bringing our full party to experience this place. Amazing.
