Located in the thriving area of Phoenix's Roosevelt Row, Rough Rider offers a Modern American menu accompanied by unique cocktails inspired by recipes of the late 1800's. Venture down our private elevator and be transported back in time to a presidential lounge filled with delectable dishes and unforgettable libations fit for Teddy himself.
Enter the lobby through the glass doors located in the alley to the northeast and down the middle elevator to the basement.

The food here was absolutely delicious. I got the duck breast, she got the seasonal fish and both were fantastic

Kind of a cool restaurant if you are young and want to hang out at the bar while the shackers are active. Very noisy so not a place for conversation. It’s dark, in a cellar and down another level. Good service, yummy crab dip and the roast chicken was tasty. We all agreed once was enough.

Second time there. One of the best gems of Phoenix downtown. Food and service were impeccable. Brought friends that also enjoyed it.

Great atmosphere, everyonr was very helpful and friendly. Drinks were very good but a bit overpriced. Would return again!

Introduced to the place via Chef Mark Tarbell’s, Check, Please! Arizona. This place is simply beautiful. We arrived early to have a cocktail at the bar. Jake made great suggestions based on their wide ranging program. We then sat down for dinner - my wife having the chicken while I had the Norwegian trout fish special. Both of these dishes were excellent. Olivia provided great service and guidance through the menu. Parking was fairly easy and they do validate. We will be back.
