Ro – STI; pronounced (Row-stee) Short for Rosticceria, An informal Italian countryside kitchen or restaurant. It all started as a love affair with smell of fresh herbs and feel of hand-picked garden vegetables. Rosti Cuccina Italiana is a transplant of simple Tuscan countryside cooking where fresh herbs and wholesome ingredients will marry one another and create a delightful experience. Our trained chefs start with Sage, Rosemary, Thyme, Sweet Basil, Garlic and Marjoram as our star ingredients and then add the finest Meats, Seafood, Pasta and Cheeses to complete the picture allowing all those flavors to do their dance on the palate.

The waitress was careless and looked visibly annoyed while taking our order. She took one drink order (there was 3 of us) and wouldn’t answer any questions we had about the menu. I would skip this place, you can get much better service and food elsewhere.

The food quality is so so. The chicken smells—like chicken. I’d have expected it would be seasoned and that it would be organic and better tasting. Everything is around $30. The “grilled” chicken is not really grilled on charcoal or even gas. Instead, it was perhaps a stovetop, which was a huge turnoff. The folks are very nice. But for that location and the history and the heritage that they claim, I’d have expected more—even if more expensive.

We took two of our grandchildren for dinner. Our meals came out quickly. The kids loved the pizza and chicken w French fries. My husband and I enjoyed salads with grilled shrimp, which were done perfectly.

Biggest issue was that the restaurant was at least two servers understaffed. It took forever to get anything, water was not refilled. We had to go to the cashier to ask for doggy bags, Given the increased prices for the food they certainly have the money for the staff. Given the crowded conditions, they certainly have enough customers. So management is just dropping the ball. I used to eat here all the time as I live one block away. But it is like they are asking us not to visit.

this was the most wonderful neighborhood find. We were vacationing in Santa Monica and I looked this up on OpenTable. We got the veggie pizza asked to add eggplant and made crispy and it came out perfect. The Caesar salad was awesome and we had the risotto with seafood and red sauce, which was loaded with fish. We have the tiramisu for dessert, which was also excellent. I definitely want to go back here.

We were searching for some good Italian while visiting. Asked a local while Walking to our reservation and she didn’t recommend it. Cocktail watery. Salads sub par and pasta what I would expect from a fast food place. Will Not return.

We were there to celebrate a friend's birthday. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. They served the cake we brought while singing "Happy Birthday".
