Fresh and exciting new bar and restaurant in Ocean Gate, NJ, right in the heart of Ocean County with water views of the beach, boardwalk and Toms River. We are bringing an elevated dining experience with a beautifully decorated coastal themed space, a great menu composed of the finest ingredients and hand crafted cocktails, a great wine list and expansive beer selection. Ask about the selection of dining areas including main dining room, private party room, semi private second floor dining room, outdoor second floor deck seating and the fun and hip bar/lounge area. Great experience. Excellent food. Good service. Only complaint was the chair. The back of the chair is tilted and digs into your back.

Food & service very good. However the restaurant is very dark. Better lightning would be helpful so you can see what your are eating.

We’d been wanting to hit this place for over a year. Finally got there Saturday night was was thrilled that everything we’d read and heard about the place was true. Food was great, service was too. The place is loud, but the ambience was great. We will certainly be back!

Food was good. Service was slow. Sat on the outside deck… was nice but felt they forgot about us. Inside had a great vibe… they had a lot of great special choices but a bit pricey.

We had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant. Our meal began with a prosciutto-wrapped burrata appetizer, which was perfectly creamy and balanced with the salty, savory prosciutto. We also enjoyed the bacon and pork belly appetizer, both of which were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. For the main course, we shared a tomahawk steak cooked medium rare. It was tender, juicy, and flavorful, showcasing the restaurant’s commitment to high-quality meats. The steak was served sliced rather than with the bone, and while it was delicious, presenting it with the bone could have added a more dramatic and impressive touch to the presentation. It was accompanied by tricolored roasted carrots and perfectly seasoned potatoes, both of which complemented the steak beautifully and were cooked to a delightful crisp. We were also pleased with the wine selection, which, although not necessarily expensive, offered a very nice range of choices that complemented our meal perfectly. For dessert, we sampled two decadent options: the Guinness brownie with ice cream and the deep chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. The Guinness brownie was a standout, with a rich, fudgy texture that elevated the dessert. The chocolate chip cookie was equally impressive, with a gooey center and crispy edges, paired perfectly with creamy ice cream. The service throughout our meal was excellent, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a memorable and delightful dining experience.

This was our first time at Rosie’s and the ambiance is awesome. Very home beach like feel to it in a small little beach town of ocean gate. Our food was great and our server Gabriela was fantastic! Definitely recommend and will be going back asap.

My husband and I both had the halibut which is on the menu. It was absolutely delicious. It had a crust on top, but it was very moist inside. It was served with broccolini and over delicious garlic mashed potatoes! We also shared Pappardelle Bolognese entree as an appetizer. It was also delicious! Everyone is very friendly .

3rd time here, the food is delicious and service is amazing! This past Saturday was very busy at the time we reserved 7pm-- if you don't mind having a dinner with no conversation or shouting to talk to your guest and waitress then it's perfect! They can't help they are a popular place! Definitely will be back, after the summer rush dies down, or perhaps we may reserve the party room! Still love Rosies!
