At Rosie Cannonball, we’re serving European comfort food in a lively atmosphere. The restaurant celebrates the origins of cooking through open, live fire and is centered around a wood-burning oven and grill.

The menu draws inspiration from individual ingredients: local vegetables, pastas and pizzas, simple seafood and locally-sourced meat cooked over live fire.

Master Sommelier June Rodil curated an expansive list of delicious wines with a strong Italian, Spanish and French focus from their favorite producers new and old, along with options from progressive New World producers.

The cocktail menu has strong Italian influences, mirroring the focus of the food.

Great happy hour with half off pizza and all drinks from 9-10pm every night. The bartender on the night we went seemed like she didn't want to be on shift at the end of the night, but hey we all have bad days and the pizza was a bit soggy in the middle, but for 50% off, it was still a good deal.

Great service, top quality pizza Cute spot with great interior to sit and eat with hospitable service They fit a good amount of tables in their building but truly cater to their aesthetic as to not overwhelm you without compromising in the luxury leisure of space

Definitely one of Houston hidden gems. Very modern, open kitchen. The 50% off bottled wine Sunday is genius! Food amazing! Complimentary valet (just tip) is awesome. Shoutout to Jordan (sommelier )and Alexis ( waiter) both of them were excellent with their service and professionalism. I will be a regular.

Seriously such a gem in Houston! Amazing live fire cooking, pastas, wood fired pizzas, and drinks / wine list. The vibes are great. But most of all, this restaurant consistently has the best service! Special shout out to Grace who went above and beyond - she knew my dining companion and I were enamored with their Jono Pandolfi dinnerware, and she went out of her way (at our request) to show us different pieces they use at the restaurant. The 9-10 pizza happy hour is also one of the best deals in town. Cannot recommend this place enough!!

The service is excellent. Our server Carly (sp?) is so accommodating and attentive. She is excellent. The food is delicious. The new eggplant dish was a standout, along with the honey cake for dessert. All around fantastic experience!

I love the food, but I really really miss the penne A la vodka. That needs to come back asap. The food was good, but got cold very quick which made it not as good. The Montrose Mami is a great drink to get.
