Honestly, there should be a “not applicable” option. I made a reservation to bring 4 out of town guests to dinner in early December. On December 24, I received a text for me to confirm the reservation, which I did confirm and got a reply of “thank you, we look forward to seeing you.”We showed up at our reservation date and time of December 26, at 7:30 to a closed restaurant- man was I embarrassed. I know now I should have called, but I trusted that the restaurant stayed up with their open table connection. I felt stupid for not knowing the restaurant was closed.

We went to Rosey Baby for a late lunch and some drinks before the Kentucky game. No matter what I thought about my dining experience here, it was more then 10 better than the product State put on the field that night. The restaurant was pretty slow, so it was a surprise why it took more than 5 minutes for someone to take our drink orders and 10 minutes from then to get our drinks. They have a large selection of beers on tap at reasonable prices, so they have that going for them. After a while, our server took our order, and we had another drink while waiting for our food. There are TV’s at each table so we could watch football while waiting…and we were able to watch a lot of football. A good hour after arriving, our food finally arrived. My wife and daughter got the Chicken Plate with gumbo instead of Mac and cheese. It was basically a chicken tender plate. The chicken was a little over cooked, but they said it tasted fine. My daughter’s boyfriend got the Cajun Quesadilla, he said it was fine. I got the Rosey Burger, and I was not overly enthusiastic about. One corner of the burger (it had a square patty) was missing, and I think it was a mostly forgettable burger. all dishes came “Rosy Fries” which are basically fried potatoes cut like potato chips. Mine were soggy and cold. On the bright side, the fried pickles were good. I liked the atmosphere of the place, and I see how it would appeal to college students. However, I don’t know if I’d go here to eat again. I would come here for a few beers before the game, and if State keeps playing the way they did last night, I’d need to come early to prepare and come after the game to forget.

The highlight of our lunch was when the owner came in and visited w us at our table. She was very friendly with a warm, caring demeanor. The service was very hit or miss; I think our hands waiter was hungover from the previous evening. Food was average.

Looked on open table and found this place with a 9:45pm reservation still available. I made the reservation and showed up at 9:40pm. Sign on door said they were open until 10pm. Person who greeted me inside told me they were closed. I mentioned the reservation but they didn’t care. Would not recommend to anyone if they can’t honor they own signs and reservations

Wasn't busy, but we still had to wait for someone to acknowledge us. Once we were seated, which is another story, it took at least 10 minutes to have someone ask us about drinks. Beer ordered was not on tap, which took another 5 - 10 minutes. Food order was another 5 - 10 minutes. Once food was delivered: mac n cheese was cold, oysters weren't warm, gumbo not good in bread bowl. Overall, food wasn't good, service even worse. Would not recommend!

Misled by the website photos. To start with a compliment, the service was great and restaurant had a great atmosphere. However, the food was bad. We started with the boudin balls with sort of special sauce. They were fried perfectly, but there were more like watery rice balls. Could not taste sausage or any boudin seasoning. Fail one. Then, the entrees arrived. Shrimp gumbo without rice, and cajun catfish platter. The gumbo was six pieces of shrimp in a very watery brown liquid. Shrimp were perfectly cooked, but that's all that was edible without sipping the broth like coffee. The catfish was perfectly cooked and too hot to eat, but the crinkle cut frozen fries were cold. Hard to understand since there were only four tables sat when we were there. The 10 small hush puppies served on the plate were good, nothing special.
