   It was not about the food - I have heard it is awesome or anything else except the service. We had a booking at 7 pm - arrrived approx 7.04 pm - waited in line. The person in front wanted a table without a reservation and was given the outside table ( only one left) eventually after much deliberation with staff - we had a outside table reserved and when we approached we eventually were told to sit outside to wait and our table would be available shortly. It was busy and we were prepared to wait , but after 20 minutes and no contact and no staff member to talk to we left. I understand they were busy and trying to accommodate a lot of walk ins, but if you have a booking it would have been nice to at least been given priority over others who had not booked especially when we observed at least 2 more groups with bookings being offered spots. Don’t do reviews but thought this one was worth the comment.

   While food was outstanding, entrees came out staggered. Drinks were slow and we were half way through main meal before the bottle of wine arrived. Noise was overbearing in the main dining area. We sat near the kitchen and the air con was freezing. Waiter turned it down. Noise level much better that side. Too busy with not enough staff for the volume of diners. Drink prices were over the top and not worth the quality Too many other restaurants with good service and value for money to try before I’d return to this venue.

   Always genuine and attentive service with food superb. Cocktail and mocktail we had was beautiful. Good wine selection by the glass. Keep coming back to Sunnys and it always delivers!

   The food was great and service was exceptional. As a local got my 20% discount which was much appreciated. Can be noisy given the large space and timber interior. Overall an excellent experience. Thankyou

   This restaurant came highly recommended and we were looking forward to the night. We arrived, greeted and sat down. Beautiful restaurant, amazing decor. Night started out well, we ordered drinks. We waited quite a while to order food (entre and mains). The entres came out quickly - spring rolls & dumplings. Really good, tasty. Still no drinks. There seemed to be a lot of waitstaff walking around doing not much and it was not that busy (lots of empty tables) I counted about 12 waiters. We asked a waiter about our drinks - she never came back to us....The mains came out and we asked that waiter abour our drinks. He went to bar and came back and asked us what we ordered - omg. We told him and then a different waiter came to us and said there was a mixup and our drinks are being made. Another 10mins finally drinks arrived - one was completely wrong (orderd gin and whiskey was given). Sent that back and just as we were finished mains the drink arrived from the actual bar tender - no apology was given. That kind of ruined the whole experience. The mains were peking wagu, beef cheek and fried rice. They were nothing to rave about considering the prices. Not once did waitstaff come over and ask how everything was, did we want more drinks etc. Probably not going back.
