Rosebud Steakhouse prides itself in creating a true Chicago steakhouse experience for all of its guests. We offer superior quality, dry and wet aged cuts that are locally sourced by Linz Heritage Angus Beef. Visit our original location on Chicago's Magnificent Mile, our Indiana location in Munster, and soon, our first restaurant in Texas located in Southlake, Tx.

Rosebud Steakhouse in Wheeling IS NOT part of the Rosebud Restaurant Group, consequently we do not honor Rosebud Gift Card (similar to the ones from COSTCO). We are part of the CHC RESTAURANT group, and our Gift Cards can be used at any of our restaurants, including Rosebud Steakhouse on Magnificent Mile, Rosebud Steakhouse in Centennial Village, Coppolillo's Italian Steakhouse in both Libertyville, IL and Crown Point, IN, and soon to come, Windy City Social in Munster, and Rosebud Steakhouse in Dallas, TX. Overall, it was a terrific experience for me and my guests. The service was outstanding by Sean and the food was exceptional. From the appetizers of lamb chops and Asian dumplings, to our steaks … it was simply outstanding ! Highly recommend !

We had a 6:30 reservation and arrived about 5 min. early. The evening began with us being seated at a high-top table in the bar although I'd requested a standard table. After a few minutes of waiting, we were given a low table in the dining room. While our server was very nice and helpful when he was at our table, we did not see him very often. We were given water right away by a bus man but didn't see our server for 10 min or more after being seated. When he did arrive, we ordered drinks and appetizers. He said he'd bring fresh bread as well. Drinks and appetizers arrived well before the fresh bread. It was over an hour before we were able to order our meals. It could have been a much nicer experience if there had been more servers, or the servers were more attentive. We felt like it was very expensive considering the value of service we were provided.

Great food and great service. Manager was very professional and personable too. Definitely would recommend! They are a new restaurant and just need a cocktail menu. :) One is in the works they said.

Great service. Food vs other top steakhouses was good. There are many better steakhouses and many worse. However the staff and management on Xmas day was fabulous and based upon that alone I will be back.

Wanted to try this place. Fell a lil short of my expectations. Minus 1 star, the greeter (wearing a suit coat) could have been more cordial. Server was good, food good. A lil pricey. Morton’s & Wildfire are & will continually be my go to!

It was the perfect place for a festive dinner. The food was delicious! Jeff was our server and he was wonderful. The ambiance was that of a special place for dining ! I would absolutely come back very soon . A great place to celebrate special occasions!

Nice looking resturant. Hosts weren’t very friendly at the door. Sour faces didn’t seem happy to be there. The menu wasn’t extremely extensive, but also had zero descriptions of the food. For example: Salmon Picatta. Basically chicken piccata except salmon. However, came with asparagus and the menu didn’t say that also came with tomatoes on it. The menu also didn’t say that. I wasn’t about to ask the server what everything actually was and came with so I went with what I was familiar with. I thought the salmon was delicious though! Chopped salad also good, but not what your typical chopped salad is. Once again the menu had zero description of what was in the salad so we were winging it. My husband said the medallions had zero flavoring so he was not impressed. Had a great extra dirty martini so A+ on the drinks! Also made a note on the reservation we were celebrating 3 birthdays for us ladies and they didn’t even mention it, give you a piece of cake…nothing so that was disappointing. For the price I don’t think it’s worth it to not know what you are actually ordering unless you ask about everything on the menu. Would we go back? No, but I guess it’s worth a try for a nice, clean, new place but be ready to make sure you ask for exactly what everything comes with so you aren’t surprised.
