A Rare Steakhouse, Well Done.

Rosebud Steakhouse prides itself in creating a true Chicago steakhouse experience for all of its guests. We offer superior quality, dry and wet aged cuts that are locally sourced by Linz Heritage Angus Beef. Visit our original location on Chicago's Magnificent Mile, our Indiana location in Munster, and soon, our first restaurant in Texas located in Southlake, Tx.

Rosebud Steakhouse in Wheeling IS NOT part of the Rosebud Restaurant Group, consequently we do not honor Rosebud Gift Card (similar to the ones from COSTCO). We are part of the CHC RESTAURANT group, and our Gift Cards can be used at any of our restaurants, including Rosebud Steakhouse on Magnificent Mile, Rosebud Steakhouse in Centennial Village, Coppolillo's Italian Steakhouse in both Libertyville, IL and Crown Point, IN, and soon to come, Windy City Social in Munster, and Rosebud Steakhouse in Dallas, TX.     Overall, the food was great. However, the menu itself needs some improvements. The font is extremely small, and there are no descriptions for the menu items. This required us to ask many questions of our waiter, who then had to go ask someone else because he was not familiar with the menu. The burrata salad was delicious! Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the roasted garlic head was a nice bonus. For dessert, we received cannolis on the house for our anniversary, which were very good. The service was sub-par for a nice steakhouse. Our waiter was training, which he mentioned to us, however, his trainer was not with him. So when we had questions on the menu he would have to leave to ask someone else and then come back. After receiving our salad our waiter was then sent home in the middle of our meal which was a bit odd as well. Considering there were only 3 tables seated throughout the night the food came out very slow. When the bill came we attempted to use Rosebud gift cards which we were told are not accepted at this location, which was very disappointing. Not sure if we will be back, as from the looks of things I don't see this place staying in business for more than 6 months considering the size of the restaurant and the lack of people dining.

    My family and I are locals to the neighborhood and we are excited to have a fine dining experience right down the street! Great service and good food. We look forward to coming back often weather its dinner or even just cocktails at the bar.

    Our first time to Rosebud Steak in Wheeling did not disappoint! From the great food (Lobster got) to the excellent service to the sophisticated atmosphere, Rosebud is on our list of favorite’s!

    Considering it’s new, the meal and service were fine… just not polished. Only complaint is the wine list was not very interesting or extensive. And few beer choices

    Steaks were “melt in your mouth” delicious! (Filet and medallion trio and skirt steak) Sides will easily serve up to 4 people. The Brussels sprouts and cauliflower were great choices. Pricey but you get what you pay for! Our server, Manli was attentive. The menu could be more explicit-the medallions come on a bed of mashed potatoes. Also, it could just be me but the print is very small- haha…bring your readers. Great place for a special occasion

    Went second week they were open for anniversary dinner. Food was excellent. Started with the lobster got appetizer then the wedge salad that was enough for three. Filets tasted great and you have to try the cauliflower au gratin side and brussel sprouts. I recommend the Caymus Cabernet red which is $25 per glass so get the bottle if you want more than one glass. They comped us cannoli dessert for anniversary so my son got the Tiramisu which was excellent for dessert. We will be back!
