A Rare Steakhouse, Well Done.

Rosebud Steakhouse prides itself in creating a true Chicago steakhouse experience for all of its guests. We offer superior quality, dry and wet aged cuts that are locally sourced by Linz Heritage Angus Beef. Visit our original location on Chicago's Magnificent Mile, our Indiana location in Munster, and soon, our first restaurant in Texas located in Southlake, Tx.

Rosebud Steakhouse in Wheeling IS NOT part of the Rosebud Restaurant Group, consequently we do not honor Rosebud Gift Card (similar to the ones from COSTCO). We are part of the CHC RESTAURANT group, and our Gift Cards can be used at any of our restaurants, including Rosebud Steakhouse on Magnificent Mile, Rosebud Steakhouse in Centennial Village, Coppolillo's Italian Steakhouse in both Libertyville, IL and Crown Point, IN, and soon to come, Windy City Social in Munster, and Rosebud Steakhouse in Dallas, TX. Such a wonderful experience. Beautiful ambience and amazing food and service!!! Our waitress was 5 stars. Best experience for a new restaurant and very impressed. I dine out often and rarely leave reviews but this experience definitely deserved one. I can’t believe it’s Fjne dining in Wheeling :) No need to travel to the city for excellent dining

My family and I live close by and have been patiently waiting for this location to open. We came in this evening for dinner and will definitely be back! I opted for the Prime (iceberg) Wedge and Rigatoni Vodka with grilled chicken. Both were very delicious and the portion sizes were large (see attached photos). Others in my family ordered the burger and a couple of steaks which were all fantastic as well. The staff were all very attentive and kind.

Spent dinner with friends for a birthday dinner at this new restaurant. Very nice window table. Service was prompt and courteous. The hot Parmesan rolls and chocolate chip cannolis were a treat. Try the Brussels sprout side. All was good until the bill came. We were charged for another table’s entrees. When this was pointed out, a new bill was presented we were charged for drinks we did not order. This follow up placed a sour taste in our mouth.

Great atmosphere. Love the new restaurant - all the staff made it a very high end experience. The food was delicious. A little heavy/salty on the sauce/salad dressing, but very good overall.

Overall, the food was great. However, the menu itself needs some improvements. The font is extremely small, and there are no descriptions for the menu items. This required us to ask many questions of our waiter, who then had to go ask someone else because he was not familiar with the menu. The burrata salad was delicious! Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the roasted garlic head was a nice bonus. For dessert, we received cannolis on the house for our anniversary, which were very good. The service was sub-par for a nice steakhouse. Our waiter was training, which he mentioned to us, however, his trainer was not with him. So when we had questions on the menu he would have to leave to ask someone else and then come back. After receiving our salad our waiter was then sent home in the middle of our meal which was a bit odd as well. Considering there were only 3 tables seated throughout the night the food came out very slow. When the bill came we attempted to use Rosebud gift cards which we were told are not accepted at this location, which was very disappointing. Not sure if we will be back, as from the looks of things I don't see this place staying in business for more than 6 months considering the size of the restaurant and the lack of people dining.

My family and I are locals to the neighborhood and we are excited to have a fine dining experience right down the street! Great service and good food. We look forward to coming back often weather its dinner or even just cocktails at the bar.
