Worth every penny! The food was simply phenomenal. We had two of the specials and my husband had a wet age porterhouse that was the most tender filet I’ve ever had. The macaroni side dish which Ala Carte was a huge portion and cooked perfectly. The butter cake dessert was perfect for fall and a new favorite. The service was very attentive and the waitress made many recommendations that we took. The only slight was that we went for our wedding anniversary which was noted in the reservation and told to the waiter and the seating wasn’t ideal (by the door) and there was nothing special for us. We noticed another table received sparklers on the dessert and we weren’t given that option. I would have appreciated it even if it was an extra cost. The menu was understandably expensive but the food was extremely high quality and we will gladly return again.

We had reservations for a dining table which was waiting for us. We had a full complement of wait staff That worked well as a team. Charlie, she was so pleasant and helpful taking time to answer our questions.

An utter disaster. The service was a trainwreak from the moment we sat down. It's as if no one saw us yet all the staff did was walk right by us. Overcooked $60 strip and a butchered Dover Sole that was a mess on the plate. The sides were fine. For $241 for two people they should be embarrassed. They couldn't pay me to come back. That's how bad it was.

They had a mushroom soup on special that was phenomenal and worth mentioning on its own. Everything from start to finish was great though. We had the crab cake, I had a filet, and my girlfriend had the prime rib. All were cooked perfectly and delicious. Cocktails were made perfectly. Service was great. We dine in Chicago a lot and are very excited to have a restaurant of this caliber so close to our new home. Looking forward to our next visit.

I love this place. This is the second time visiting the Munster location. The service is great and the dining is like you are in a big city steakhouse. The server asked my daughter and me if we were celebrating anything and it was her first day of college so she brought her a dessert that was not on the menu. I would highly recommend this to any of my friends.

The restaurant is beautiful, the staff is great, the prices aren’t bad but what is bad is the FOOD! For the life of me I never thought that an established restaurant wouldn’t know how to cook a steak. My cowboy ribeye had to be sent back twice and still wasn’t all that good. First time steak came out wet like it was broiled in water or taken straight out of the sous vide bag and slapped on the plate (disgusting) then it came back after putting a char in it to find out all they did was dust it with blackening seasoning which made it bland but spicy. After that it was completely remade and this time just not as wet looking but you can tell whatever cook they have doesn’t know how to cook a proper steak. Also, my sister had to send her lamb chops back twice as they kept coming out well done and not the requested medium. If you do come to the Munster location, I suggest only getting the strip steak as that’s the only steak they can properly cook.

We enjoyed a very special evening. Our waitress Emily was outstanding and made our dinner even more special by her attention to detail. The food was delicious!
