Please call for reservations over 6 guests. We accommodate parties of any size.

Rooftop now open on a first come first serve basis. Reservations will NOT be taken for the rooftop. Rooftop hours of operation vary based on weather and private party bookings.

Rooftop requests are not rooftop reservations and will not be honored. We will do our best to accommodate requests.

Brunch will be served Saturday & Sunday until 2pm

Happy hour Monday-Thursday 3-6pm (1st floor bar only. We do NOT accept reservations for happy hour. Please call ahead and we'll be happy to tell you how full the bar is)

For nearly 50 years, Alex Dana’s Rosebud Restaurants have set the standard for Italian fare in Chicago. Rosebud Randolph will be Alex Dana’s 9th location, featuring a 3-level space including a rooftop, located in Millennium Park.
A 3% Surcharge will be added to every check. We will be happy to remove this by request.

The food was delicious and the portions were huge. The only complaint is that the noise level. It is impossible to hold a conversation with the person next to you without shouting.

Food was very mediocre like what you would get in a diner but for a hefty price. Will not go back

Food very good. Service excellent. 3% extra inflation charge. Menu says we are charging extra 3% so to keep our prices down. Pasta dish $28, salad $19.00. Hmm. Houston we have a problem.

We had a quick meal before going to Millennium Park. Waiter was not great and kept forgetting things. Food is expensive for what it is. Other Rosebud restaurants are better but it's convenient if you're downtown. It's busy there so maybe it was just a bad night.

The noise on the terrace was very loud. Food was good, but the wait was excruciating and staff was not at all apologetic about it. I was there alone, had a NA beer, salad and a main and my bill was over $70

The restaurant was noisier than the last time we visited (possibly because the downstairs location where we have eaten in the past was closed and we ate upstairs. Our server was not as friendly as the last visit - but still, the food was good so we will return. We hope the downstairs is open next time as the acostics deaden the noise much better

We are here visiting. Several things happened upon our arrival at the restaurant. The host was not very pleasant as a host should be. The dining area was up 4 flights of stairs but he gave us partial direction’s. Once we were seated it took a long time for a server to arrive. The waiter was very lack luster in checking on us after our food arrived. We had to ask for bread for the table. So, overall we were very dissatisfied with the service.

I was seated at the bar as I was alone. Service was random. Really didn’t pay attention to me. When they brought my food she really didn’t pay any attention to me. I had to get her attention for any water or anything. The Eggplant stack, which I love, was way over fried so crisp it was diffuse to eat and no where near how it usually is. Very disappointed. The meatballs were delicious. View was lovely on the rooftop. This is one of my favorites when I visit Chicago, but this was not a great visit, unfortunately.
