Lunch was very good service was excellent. Celebrating a birthday and disappointed that they didn’t bring something special for it.

The service was attentive without being disrupt; our server also was friendly. The food was good, but not great. The prices are a little high

Sol was a very good server. Very attentive. However? Our meals left a lot to be desired. My veal piccata sauce was tasteless and too thick. My husband’s lasagna was soupy, the layers were not holding together. I felt the costs were high but felt if it’s good food it would be worth it, however, it wasn’t. Very disappointed.

The food was a bit underwhelming, particularly compared to my memories of years past at Rosebud on Rush, downtown.

The Bruschetta appetizer was generously sized and appropriate for up to four guests. The bread was lightly toasted and was topped with a generous amount of tomatoes, though sadly some were ripe and others were either over-ripe or under-ripe. The Rigatoni alla Vodka was sent back because the Rigatoni was undercooked. I love an Al dente noodle, but not an undercooked one that is tough to bite through. The Meat Lasagna was ordered as a replacement, with hopes it would be served quickly. The lasagna was served 4 minutes later and was very hot. Unfortunately, it had a mushy consistency and lacked flavor. I did not eat it, did not take it to go and it was not removed from the check. The server told me it was mushy because it was made with homemade noodles but I make homemade pasta and don't have that experience. I would not order it again and would not recommend it. The Tortellini Carbonara was the best dish we ordered tonight and one I would highly recommend. I would recommend Rosebud Italian Specialties & Pizzeria with hesitation.

I took my 10 month old here for a mother son date and we had the best time. Our waiter was super nice and even chatted with my little one, even if all the little guy did was shovel ravioli in his mouth. The only negative that did occur was with a customer who berated the poor valet for taking some time to retrieve his car. The poor kid tried to tell the man that he was trying to figure out the controls on his car so he didn't mess anything up, but the man was verbally aggressive and rude towards him anyway. One of his fellow valets did come and check on him afterwards which was really nice to see. Despite the construction in the area, the vibe and atmosphere was great. You could even hear the music from the restaurant across the street

The restaurant was, unfortunately, very hot. It appears the AC went out on the hottest day of the year. We were there to celebrate my birthday. I would’ve appreciated a phone call to let me know that the AC was out so I could decide then whether or not I wanted to reschedule. It was a very uncomfortable dinner. You were also out of limoncello- what Italian restaurant could ever be out of limoncello? Overall a bad experience. Even my chicken Limon was unfortunately bland. I’ve dined there before and has always been a great experience. Not this time.
