We dined at Rosebud Deerfield to celebrate our birthdays and we were treated like royalty immediately, from the hostess stand all through dinner and dessert. The food was excellent and filling as always, the entire staff was friendly and attentive. Everything was perfect! We will be back.

An absolute pleasure tonight at Rosebud. Our friend of ten plus years and her team, took care of us. We started with the delish chopped salad. See prior reviews. Loaded with goodies. We opted for two skirt steaks tonight. Both cooked to temperature and seasoned perfectly. Accompanying the steaks were delish sautéed onions, garlic broccolini and potato’s. We finished with the always crowd pleasing banana cream pie.

Food was great, service was attentive but being an upscale Italian restaurant , the management should play traditional “Italian” music in the background:Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Perry Como and Italian instrumental music, etc.

Outside on patio was lovely. Noise from inside somewhat annoying. Food tasty and attractive. A nice birthday celebration.

The food is terrific, and the portions are large, justifying the relatively high prices. All the servers and bussers are friendly and work hard. However, something seems to go wrong on most of my visits, suggesting some fundamental management problems. On this visit, after we waited a long time for our salad, we were two bits into it when the entrees arrived. The server asked if we wanted him to bring the entrees back later, and we said yes. I saw him go back and get an earful from a manager. About 5 minutes later, he returned with the entrees, and we all struggled for room on the table since we still had a lot of salad on our plates and in the serving bowl. This is not the end of the world, but it's a yet another in a string of annoyances when we visit Rosebud in Deerfield.
