Located in the historic Fulton Market district of Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood, Rose Mary is Chef/Owner Joe Flamm’s debut restaurant inspired by his Italian heritage and the bold, bright flavors of Croatian cuisine. The boisterous space—named for Flamm’s grandmothers, Mary and Mary Rose, and the herb rosemary, which grows natively along the Italian and Croatian coastlines—offers a seasonal menu of rustic yet refined dishes that encapsulate what Flamm has coined “Adriatic drinking food”.

This is our 2nd time at Rose Mary and it was great! We had the zucchini fritters, pea pods, cacio de Pepe, duck and pork ribs, I would get them all again! Great service too!

The staff was wonderful and gave great recommendations to us so we had wonderful dishes— and the perfect amount of food! Do not miss the tuna crudo, it was phenomenal!!

This was the best meal we have had in eons. We went to Rose Mary when it first opened, and while it was good, it clearly was a work in progress. Now, it’s perfection. Every single dish we had was fantastic, our favorites being the roasted summer squash, the smoked clams and the ribs. The cacio e pepe and the risotto were also incredible. Our server, Johnny, was funny, friendly, knowledgeable and plain old great at his job. Made us feel like celebrities. I highly recommend Rose Mary for both amazing food and just a highly enjoyable evening.

The restaurant had an energetic vibe. The food was delicious. Our server, Johnny, guided us to make the perfect selections and very much enhanced our experience. The Somm shared a story about the bottle of wine we selected, which will make it memorable beyond this experience. We highly recommend and will be back. Great job team!

Got a dish from every section on the menu and wasn't disappointed. The summer squash, tuna crudo, and mafaldine were especially amazing. Server was knowledgeable and very friendly.

My family is always treated well here at Rose Mary. Beyond the warm and inviting atmosphere, all staff were extremely welcoming, respectful and genuinely helpful. We sat at the bar and tried a couple pasta dishes (RADIATORE 'CACIO E PEPE & MAFALDINE) I highly recommend. We will be back!

Got the tuna crudo and the lamb ragu. Both phenomenal. Highly recommend! Staff was very welcoming and made good drink and food recommendations.
